I was playing Fiesta for few hours straight(4 Hours and above) without closing the game and it suddenly became very lag and it exited to my desktop with the above error message.

It seems that Fiesta.bin crashed for no apparent reason going by the event log from my windows XP system:

I have no idea....no experience with the data you provided but from my own experience with launcher crashes, I will just say the following:

1. Make sure programs running in the background are limited (too many programs running as the same time as Fiesta can cause an overload on your memory).
2. Reinstall Fiesta (files may have been corrupted resulting in the crash)
3. Run disk defrag and disk cleaner to clean out your junk and organize your files.

GSL2007

Only my security software(AV,firewall antispy) real time protection are running in the background with all automatic update turn off.

3:I run disk defragmentation software and clean out junk and temp files daily.

I performed a debug on the Fiesta dump file and hope that it can shed some light on this issue:

how often does this happen? every time? once in a while? once in a long while?

be sure to only run programs you need while playing... and relog the game every few hours to clear the memory. rebooting the computer once a day to reset your memory is good too.

It rarely happened(like once in a few months) and i usually restart my computer every 2-3 hours of gameplay.

Only my security program like antivirus/antispy and firewall are running in the background with all automatic update turned off.

Be the way, are there any way that i can sent the dump file for you guys to analyze it?

it happens about once an hour. I tried the uninstall/reinstall approach, I have everything closed except for explorer.exe, and I rebooted my computer. But I am still getting the Fiesta.bin error.

There is no rhyme or reason to it as far as I can see. It happens all the time in different scenarios and at different times (in the middle of a KQ, using a warp scroll, and even just standing around in elderine) and the length of time varies as well (right after I log in, after an hour and a half).

I just can't figure it out...

Suggestions?

Edit: The following is my system information

OS: Windows XP Professional
Processor: Intel Pentium IV 2.8 GHz

Total Virtual Memory: 2.0 GB

I`m also experiencing this error frequently. It usually happens after an hour + of playing but sometimes it happens as soon as I log on. But usually after I get this error a few times I`ll be unable to launch Fiesta without restarting my computer.

I have no other programs running in the background other than iTunes and antivirus stuff, I defrag my computer daily.

I am also getting a bin error since the last patch. No other background programs are running, aside from AVG 8.0... and zune because I dont care for the music. Occasionally someone will IM me through msn, but that doesn't tax my computer at all. fiesta only takes up half of my cpu power and not even a quarter of ram.

I get this every time that the game tries to load. The launcher is fine, it lets me load up the game, and for about one split second I get the loading screen like usual, but then it will pull up the server list and then it pulls up that error while the server movie (its what I call that background to that screen... with the cat and the mini dragon) keeps running blissfully without knowing it failed.

I'd try to enclose my dxdiag because normally that should help... but you've put a limit of 20kb and they nearly always are around 50 -_-... seriously.... anyway, same thing goes for a screenshot of the error.... I strongly reccomend that you change those limits so we can actually give you the information that you should need to debug/help us. Many other gaming companies allow attatchments of txt files and screenshots if it is related to the error... please get with the times outspark.

lot of people been getting the fiesta.bin error since last patch, hopefully tonight it will be fixed. people get it when they try logging in and it pops up on server or char select screen, if they put the error box to side and dont click close, the game runs just fine. but it they click close the game ends, so the game runs fine unless you let the error shut it down.

I jinxed myself when I voted in a poll saying I never got the Fiesta.bin bug.

It happens several times a day now. =\
