do ever1 over lvl 20 have to start over again from lvl 1, and ever1 under lvl 20 erased?

man, that sucks :s

i play fiesta for all the new stuff all the time. new weapons, skill and all that, and now i need to do all that again? i was finalyl starting to enjoying the good side of feista when i became lvl 20, and now i have to do it again`? can someone please have a discussion about this for me and explaine to me why you have to restart it, i really want a good reason guys... so please answear

1st of all is a closed beta , character are supposed to be wipe we are told before we even played the game


2ndly due to all the bug fixing and new thing that going to be included in the OB, character that was created using the old client gonna make alot of bug


3ndly closed beta is not a advance training session, is just a feel of the game + bug fixing.


4th i never heard Ppl of over lvl 50 never complain why should other lol

Okay im gonna make it clear. if theres anybody that starts at a lvl higher than 1 then all the noobs that will join the game when OB starts will get jealous and start complaining to gms about it being unfair, then they might leave the game because of that, and also remember all the cash items u musta bought with the test money? That would make them lose profit. Badly. Thus making it harder to keep the game running, and possibly making them close it in the future due to low profit.

The advantage for those who played in Closed Beta is they'll KNOW where to go, what to do, etc to get faster levels than the people who are just getting a start.


Grind hard enough and you could make 20 in a day as was said about.

Standard procedure for beta's. Is this your first beta? You should have known this would happen. There are atleast 20 reasons why they do a character wipe at the end of CB.If you weren't prepared for it then please refrain from doing anymore Closed beta's.

If you must know why they do this I will give you a direct quote from GM CatsClaw:


"It is a standard procedure to erase the database after a closed beta. There are a number of reasons for this, but the primary reason is that there have been changes made to the later versions of the game client that would create bugs and serious errors in characters created with an older version (CB1 or CB2) of the game client.


This will be the only time we will do this though, so in the future any characters you create once Open Beta is underway will remain and never be erased for as long as Fiesta Online continues to run, which we hope is a very long time indeed!


We hope that you can understand the necessity of the databse wipe, and we hope that you come back and enjoy the game."

Hey, I've never participated in a closed beta before, but I knew my characters would be deleted. You know how? I checked the forums. Something people can't seem to do, yet they can post in them all the time. It's only fair that the chars get reset. Just be glad that you had the chance to pick a good name before everyone else.

Lvl 20 is easy, plus its closed beta so its kinda good you get to start over with full game, This way you change the players looks and stuff O.o
Plus OB is a good thing, better Robo KQ hopefully only beaten liek once in america[my group :D]

I wouldnt care because even if you get erased you still have a head start from beta testing becuase you have a handle for the game already and you will level faster than people not beta testing.

Dude... in OB everyone start fresh again, you can take that chance and level to be the top 10 in Fiesta or something, CB has bugs, in OB not a lot, it will be much easier, and you also have experience compare to newbies. And I am sure EVERYONE had made mistakes in CB on their skills or build or whatever. To me CB is an EXPERIENCING PHASE ^_^

If you ever play the game king of chaos where they have ages where it restarts all the settings. No one complains about it on their. Why do so many people complain about it here?

Because they don't wnat to lose characters here and it shouldn't be part of the gampelay at all... -.-


Honestly though, people that complain over something that has been said should read... But we don't have a search button ugh...
