how long will the CB last?

ive heard that it will be 1 week from other players... but ive never seen a confirmation from the GMs themselves, so could you please tell me?

(i might not be able to play very long if its only 1 week... cause im going to a friends cottage for an unknow time... leaving later at night the 21st)

and while im talking... i was wondering when on the 20th CB will open (in GMT)?
(the earlier the better for me)

Will the game go straight to OB from CB or will there be a few day break inbetween?

And, it opens at 6 pm GMT on the 20th.

6 pm?! that gives me like 24 hrs to play... so i guess no sleep during those 24 hrs.

gotta stock up on candy, soft drinks n mini-pizzas since it might be the only 24 hrs i have in CB.

I recently heard this game is a translated game which generally means the game has already been extensively tested / played. Usually translated games require short closed betas just to insure the translation is accurate such as stats are giving what descriptions claim all the monsters / items are in english ect usually the game itself is pretty clean, mind you we may find bugs that were never found before however that being said I think the beta will be a short period (2 weeks - 4 weeks) and OB will prob have a day or 2 between for cleaning the database insuring the new fix patches are ready as well as the updater works ect.

Bare in mind this is my own opinion based on previous games I have no affiliation with the game nor do I know what I have said to be fact :)

I say about a week, to two weeks, then maybe a month before OB because I heard they are going to get it up to date with the korean version, am I correct? So that alone with the translation and coding of all that, I say a month till ob which I think is reasonable, just please don't ditch us and let us hang dry like most MMOs are doing *cough*MonatoEsprit*cough* *cough*2 Moons*cough* lol

I think OB will last more than a couple days, probably a few weeks (they need to set up the cash shop too).
And up to date with the Korean version ? That'd be a first, but I honestly doubt it, translation takes time...

i say that the whole thing will last for a week or two and the open beta will be short becasue they are usaly just to test the servers and the game compatibility with other computors and stuff like that...but the whole bug working will probably take a while

id say 1-2 weeks of cbt, and as for the change- i thought they would fix cb while it was happening so that the can assure the fixes work,rather than doing it at the end

I wouldn't doubt it being as 2 Moons and Sicon of Fate accomplished it, see the thing is that if we demand the game now...well get exactly what we are asking for a half complete version of the game, also I say up to date to the korean version because Shine Online isn't that far I don't believe last time I checked, since they were in CBT for a while heh...3 months i believe. So who knows maybe it'll be that long to? The longer we wait for ob, the better I say.

Two weeks is the very longest this should last, I cannot even test that long without losing interest [and my character]

Yes and no, a CBT usually doesn't come with content updates, and also cbt major bugs in-game aside from possibly connection issues aren't normally taken care of, so we'd be dealing with the same small portioned game we were given for 3 months and probably cbt for fiesta would die or turn out to be like our good ole buddy Monato Esprit.

Not really if you think about it, the only thing awaiting you at the end of CB is a wipe, I would hate to invest 3 months in my char to see him go at the end. The earlier we get the real thing, the better! (For me at least).

Agree with toph. I want about a week to test all sorts of stat builds, bug test, and create strategies and guides for my guildmates. And possibly public.

Closed beta is a temporary play time to test for bugs and other things. We lose our information since it wouldn't be fair to the people who didn't get in.

Making a guild seems kinda pointless to me in the CBT, there really is not point to creating one except for the name banner lol

Practically there will be no other Guilds around making PvP highly unorthodox and we are all beginning at Level 1, though the spectacle of seeing 20 level 1's ganking people will only be outrageously amusing

I think most people will stick to the game plan, level up characters and test out different stat builds and stratergies to leveling fast

I'd say it should last at least a good month, so there for, we could have plenty of time to make sure nothings wrong and we probably would need someone to reach max level so we can make sure that EXP charts are working from Lv.1 to max level.

they will probably boost exp so we lvl faster and can explore the game properly and i dont think that they will give us a month probbly a week because they dont want te people who didnt get picked to wait much loner

@the420kid: thats a wrong assumption. just because the game has been translated, doesnt mean its been extensively tested. thats what CB testers are for.. usually in most games they will do the extensive testing during pre-OB phase.


@silibus: i seriously doubt it. 2moons is trying to catch up with the korean version, but thats because they promised us that they gonna put some different stuff from the korean version. besides do u even know how long has it been for 2moons since CB ?? CB ended about the end of february and OB is going to released on end of july. 5 months working on OB release.

If CB only lasted a week then it'd be dificult to really test the game, thereby voiding the point of it at all. I'm sure we'll get more time than that.
