Events.. Hate em? Or love em?

I used to love all the events.. particularly the Forest of Shadow event. Its my favorite ^^ Love it. But.. now.. the events are being delayed a bit, and.. well, the GM get son, shouts about it, then waits for 30 min. By that time everyone and their puppys mothers sons have showed up and I lag so bad I cant even heal myself WITH PEOPLE HIDDEN.

Well.. I have 1.5GB RAM and a pretty good processor.. handles all the other games perfectly fine. I understand lag in towns is acceptable.

Aha.. ahahah.. I did >.> Went to Uruga, almost died from pixies because apparently now my skills dont work. AT ALL.
Went into AEW, practically 5 peopel in the entire map. Skills wont work. I got stuck in a permemnant regen (unfortunately the skill didnt stick, so i was stuck hanging in the air using pots and stones to survive). Luckly a wonderful fighter named 'giantdragon' took pity on me and saved my poor laggy rear.

So... now I HATE the events. With a passion. I NEVER get anything from the events. Not a thing >w<

I wish they would like.. regulate how many ppl could enter town on an event.. or spread the events out between towns or something... ANYTHING except havign it all in one spot for a massive lag -.-
I mean, cmon.. take that one huge spawn of trees and make it 3-4 all around town! Less ppl in one area = less lag in that area = happier customers.

Events would be so much much if they regulated the amount of people.
100-125 people max would be good.

Hate for certain events such as Monster Event, I really wanted to join but the lag is killing me.

Why not just spawn them at every maps instead of focusing on one main spot? Maybe one MD at FOM, one KKP at AEW, one GOC at MT, at same time, something like that.

Less lag, correct?

And don't tell me to buy high tech CPU with uber Graphic cards, because not everyone can afford that. <----Including myself :D

LOL if they spawn them at different place ppl would just run from place to place lagging all the maps instead of one.

High end system or not there is going to be lag and alot of it. I laugh almost everytime I long on and I see the sever say LOW I don't know what outsparks thinks LOW is but I can tell you their servers are part of the problem, but not ALL. If they limited the amount of ppl on each server to a lower amount then they do now, and open a few more servers then those with high end systems would not lag and those with min requirements would lag alot less.

About the skills not working: relog, it worked for me...
But I didn't like this event. The lag killed me, the monsters killed me and if I got any chance to kill them, I got bad exp and no drops at all...

i hate events for that same reason..

to laggy..
i always die befor i even know it..

sum one pls fix that
and my computer is all good..
but not expensive..

only lags in events are wen lots of ppl are grouped up

I loved the forest one too, but it is one of the laggiest ones I've encounted!

The monster maker ones... well, I find them heaps of fun and if I can get a certain distance away while still healing, then I dont get so much lag. But then constantly dying because of mobs at the spawn point kinda sucks. lol.

And that messenger event? forget about it. One second i was asking 'where is he?' the next - there he was, and I could not move due to lag and died. Not impressed.

Generally, I dont go into events so much now because I dont have teva. I think that if they made is so you didnt lose exp when you died during events it would really help, because then you wouldnt get so much frustration from lagging out. The GM GW was great like that.

Ye the event "kill mobs" is o.k but sorry i die ever very laggy
THe event find the GM is boring.
