My first "Epic" victory XD

So when i logged on not too long ago, i noticed there was only 30 minutes left till Maintnance, i wondered if that would be enough time for me to enter a random KQ. I bought some Stones and joined a Mara KQ.

Let me tell you, its amazing how hard people work when they know they have less time to finish something then the KQ timer is showing XDDD We slaughtered our way to Mara and Marlone amazingly fast and even killed both of them incredibly fast.

We won the KQ with 9 minutes to spare and i got a +4 Steel Axe (lvl 20) as a prize (my very first KQ prize that's been an enhanced equipment that i can actually use)

I know this is small fry to you lvl 40+ people but for me, only been on Fiesta for a week, this really did feel like an awesome victory lol w00t Fiesta's the best game ever!

AMEN! XD You know how annoying it is being in a golden hill KQ and seeing people not fighting or digging for the key, but DANCING o_o

Mara KQ is difficult to success in I think largely to the lvl differance in player and the amount of Mara KQs there are. Also ppl keep forgetting Real Mara at the end has the blue thing on her hat and Real Marlone has horns...

This is a good achievement considering how slack people are in KQ's these days, and with Mara there's alot of people who just dont know what to do, so grats for banding together and getting the job done!! :)

Lol yes the KQ timer was 25-30mins left i didnt really get a good look at it.

Fastest KQ i ever been in xD Not to mention there were a lot of people under lvl 20! and i was the highest lvl there (25) :/ I just helped them kill the pirates quickly so they would proceed forward even quicker.

Also Note i've only been playing Fiesta for a week and i've only joined roughly about 4 or 5 KQ's so the KQ is still be a bit new to me. Cant wait to try out that sweet axe XD

well ive find if theres just 1 good person that gets other to work together i once tanked marlone and mara after i started people started actually getting out of there houses healing and we won :P i got a +4 bow aswell but then i got luck and made it +7 * u should try it bring scrolls be the best and i guarentee people will start helping u out

I just tried to give them little pep talks via shout chat. Stuff like "Come on we have to hurry before maintnance stats" and instead of just sitting in their houses when we met Marlone and Mara halfway, i asked who has the highest defense.

After that, more people became motivated and started expressing their ideas and battle startegies. im really liking KQ's mostly because it's a team effort to win it and requires a battle strategy not just fighting blindly.

Plus its a good way to make some friends so thats always a nice bonus.

Lol well i only played 3 other MMORPG's before Fiesta and they werent as fun as Fiesta in my opinion. The never ending grinding in MMO's is one of the reasons why people eventually quit the game, so IMO the solution is to make the grinding as fun as possible. Fiesta has that. So far i've been getting like 4-7 new quests with each level i gain. And by the time i finish them i would have gained enough exp to get yet another level up. Thus the cycle of "entertaining leveling up" keeps on repeating :D

SoS (Secret of the Solstice) is like...good quest, good quest, broken quest, broken quest, no quest for 10+ levels, 1 good yet almost impossible to do quest, broken quest, broken quest, no quest for 10+ levels (it keeps on going like this)

So its pretty much mind numbing grinding....


Anyway, i know my opinion on Fiesta is bound to change, but it's made quite a big impression on me so far...The things i dont like about it is the complicated chat bar and its a bit hard to make friends let alone find good friends.

Don't forget that there's an option how the chat bar works in Fiesta.

Even Fiesta will turn into grinding eventually (between level 30 and 40), but that's only because there's not enough content / quests for higher levels yet. The time when I played level 1 to level 27 there wasn't even Sand Hill and I had much less quests to do than you have now. ^^;

It's not really troublesome on low levels anyways... make one KQ and gain a whole level on low levels. O_O

And you're right about KQ's. A golden hill KQ gives me 40-50%.

KQ = Mega exp + Fun prizes = Best Idea ever :D

Yeah KQ's are what makes me love this game mainly. I mean there are other MMORPGs that have lots of quests, but an instanced dungeon where a RANDOM group of players have to work together to solve a mission is something really unique.

I wish there was an MMORPG that basically only consisted out of KQs (or even just Fiesta in 15 years where there are 3+ KQs for each level range)~

I really miss King Slime KQ, though, it was so fun and I liked the music. TT
They should make a hard type of this one for level 26~40 (only Golden Hill or only Robo available in this range, and Golden Hill is kinda lame, Mara is harder xD).
