Bored Imp NOT WORKING

When I try to finish the bored imp quest when I talk to James the game freezes then shuts down. It doesn't work iv been shut down like 20 times and iv been messaged by like 8 more people coz they have the same problem. Y is this happening plz fix it soon!:(:(:(

First of all, wrong section =). This would have been better in Fiesta Troubleshooting, but there are multiple threads on the same topic anyway.

Secondly, I do think that the team at Outspark has probably noticed, seeing as it's caused quite a commotion after the latest patch.

My suggestion is to give up on the quest (there is a button on the quest window which allows you to do so) and wait for it to either be fixed, or leave it. The rewards for this quest will seem fairly miniscule after a few more levels, so I suggest that you simply put if behind you ^^.

omg the same thing is happening to me. and ive done this quest multiple times before since this is my 4th char in the Teva server!

and it sucks cause i cant buy anything from james until i finish this quest, but every time i try, i get kicked off of fiesta. and also when i try and look at the quest it kicks me off as well.

and i need to enchant stuff and im right in roumen and i dont wanna go all the way to elderine. what a hassle. :mad:

Hello Fiesta players.

The Bored Imp quest is a problem yes. Do not try it. It will disconnect you. We are working on the fix. Whenever we patch the game again hopefully this will be fixed along with other issues. Thanks for your patience!

see the second problem is that i cannot even quit the mission i cant give it up then it also logs off so the outspark team should suggest fixing this bug really fast it should be #1 in the fixing bug list. plz hurry i am getting really pissed:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Alright, good, I'm not the only one having this problem (playing in Apoline while Epith is down, FYI).

Ok, since everybody knows, here's the quick solution: Give up on the quest, and move on.

Realistically speaking, you don't need to spend much time fighting to level if you're doing the bored imp quest. Just select the bored imp quest on the quest list, then press "give up" on the bottom left (or right, Idk). The game should hopefully return to normal.



EDIT: Ok, after actually trying my idea, I've found that even on the quest list, if you make the mistake of clicking it, you're knocked off as well. So, yeah Outspark, let's get that fixed, plz?

C'mon guys, it's just a level 5 quest bug. You can get to level 5 in 30 minutes... just restart your character and don't take the quest this time.

They are working on fixing it anyways, but it's not top priority, some higher level players are completely stuck in the game (can't warp) and some people can't see their inventory anymore. These two things have top priority right now, but after that this quest will have top priority.
So either wait some weeks until it's fixed or just restart your character...

:( The quest locks up at every view. In the quest list and if you complete killing the imps and talk to james you are kicked off the system. you can not delete the requested quest. It needs to be fixed and I hope that the GMs actually read this and fix it soon.

Little added FYI on the subject. Even if you try tp open the quest log of the Imps, and Instigator, it also boots you.

You continued to play up to level 18 with a broken quest window? o.o
Well, guess it's harder to start a new character then, so I guess you'll have to live with it if you don't wanna restart (though you can still get to level 18 on a weekend if you play all day).


Don't cry for GMs... so many people reported the problem already, there are like 100 threads, no way the GMs will reply to any of those.


I can tell you myself:
1. They are aware of the problem.
2. They are working on it already.
3. They can't tell you how long it'll take because the developers (in Korea) have to fix it.
4. Fixing it might take some weeks.

Sorry I can't give you positive news, but it's just like that. Either start a new character for now, or continue playing despite the bug, or take a break until it's fixed.

the problem is you can't give up the quest without being thrown out of the game. Trust me I've tried a million times ><

since Bored imp is bugged and I can not gid rid of quest nor can I do Robins Glasses 1 since Smith James is the final guy in this quest!!! So now I have to quests waiting to be completed but cant comple cuase I still have bored Imp
