A patch is a small program or set of programs to update a software application.* That is, the Outspark people are getting the Fiesta launcher ready for the open beta, because it will be different from CB2 -- bigger, longer, and uncut.

uhhhhh i think that patch was so that no one would be able to enter CB2. Cause I just opened up the launcher right now and I didn't get a patch download. But I did get a patch like after CB2 closed.
