Kannon is leaving fiesta FOR GOOD

Okay after hearing, from my guild mates the other night, Fiesta has basically turned into a pvp/pay-to-play game. i detest these kinda of games.

Why?

Well lets start on why I don't like having to pay to kill stuff. fiesta started out a free game which meant all CS items were OPTIONAL, now if you actually want to do anything having CS items is MANDATORY so I'm not gonna waste money on that. you shouldn't NEED CS items to do anything thats just stupidand defeast the object of the game being free.

Second the PVP aspect. *hypothetical situation&* some on is soloing a boss mob and is doing great hardly taking damage and wearing that mothertrucker down like gods knows what. Party comes along and has been trying to kill this same boss but has had no luck finding one. Party pk's soloer and reaps the benefits of their hard work.

ALSO I'm not liking the fact that no one is doing anything about the players behaviour. I REFUSE to play a game were there for of punishment for disrespect. for too long people have gotten away with a lot crap and I'm sick of no one being able to do anything. I know that they put the whole training and KSing down as a TOS but that didn't actually work. so I'll e logging on soon to literally DROP my gear and and delete my chars.

after the chars are deleted fiesta will be uninstalled FOR GOOD. sorry to all my friends but fiesta has gone in totally the wrong direction for me and it time to say good bye.

Okay I agree with you on the cash shop part. BoT has become pretty much mandatory if you want to level any time this year, and I don't like that. The rest is optional, but others get more than you and shoot further ahead than you, then once they reach that next group of levels they're in the 7x map while you're in the 6x map and they don't party with you anymore... yeah. I can relate there.

What on earth is going on with the PK stuff though?

And maybe this is just me but deleting age-old Kannon is so depressing. D: Uninstall fiesta sure but... Kannon... D: At least think about it first? It's kinda a big decision. I mean I know it's just a game so it doesn't really matter... and I've got you on MSN so it's not like you're ever gonna get away from me pestering you... but... :(

Sucks to see a player go... buuuut the truth is you DON'T need CS items to do anything. You just have to find a good party for your quests and grinding, and that's it. Problem solved. You don't need to have +9 stuff. You don't need a fast mount because in the end, you're gonna get there anyway.

As for your second thing... I've never seen a boss in a PVP area, so I can't really give you my opinion on that.

Lastly, every game will have inconsiderate players, even if it's going against the TOS. If they're not caught, they're just gonna keep going, and as part of the community, it's your job to get screenshots and submit them to the GM's so that they can properly take care of things. If you can't contribute that little bit, then don't complain when players disrespect you, because, let's face it, no matter what, it's gonna happen.

I put a lot of hard work into him but still he's gone to a better place now ...... it's called rappelz my char in there is called pechesandceam ..... yes I know there's some in fiesta called that ... and no I didn't know them at all.

so yeah I'll see yo all on the other side.

and btw allycore .... you need sp/hp extender tough cookie pack and blessing of teva to get rid of helga while at lvl 79. to be good at pvp you also need those items. and since this game is going to ward pvp .... see where i'm going now then.

Currently, only one kind of map that has pk and monsters at the same time is the battle grounds. There are NO bosses in battle grounds. Also, you DO NOT lose exp when you're killed by players.

Who says no one is doing anything? Have you even checked? Just a few days ago, Dakkon helped someone who was scammed to get back his item. I played a part in this, so I fully know very well that these arrogant players are getting their just deserts.

Wrong again. You do not NEED tough cookie pack and blessing of teva to get rid of helga at level 79. You still die anyway.

And this game is NOT going towards pvp. Where did you get this info from?


And lastly.

I respect you for the player you are. As I do all good players. I've even partied with you before. However, sometimes, you simply ignore the whole picture and goes on assuming the book is what it is by looking at the cover. Also, I must say that you're a little arogrant on the fact that you completely ignored allycore's opinion, and go on your way of thinking what you want.
While I cannot change your way of thinking, I want you to know that there are still players who love Fiesta, and you insulting it will not gain you popularity.

One thing that I always wondered, in Fiesta, is the dilemma players face when reaching higher levels.

I've been keeping a close eye in some friends. Some use SC some don't. However, I always worried how they feel as they level more and more. Actually, as the player reaches higher levels, he faces a growing dilemma about the need of getting SC.

Probably it is part of the bussiness. After 60 levels why not spend some money in it? The game is free, but some may feel uneasy when not using top of line equip, mounts, etc. Ok, if you're lvl 20, but a lvl 70 needs more. So the dilemma begins.

I think our friend Kannon is facing the dilemma. He wants to be the best in a really competitive evironment, but without SC this can be a problem. So he decided to leave and tries to rationalize his decision using some arguments concerning topics that all of MMORPGs face. Well, I've requested GMs help more than once and, currently, Outspark staff is working better than I've seen in the last games I played.

Kannon, this is a game, it is make to be fun. I know it is competititve. I know it is hard to keep with players who have a lot of free time and a lot of cash to spend. But you don't need to be part of "this" game. Fiesta is big and wide enough to be fun for everyone.

awwthats sad that you're leaving - but you know frankly im glad that all these type of stuff has blown over in the Apoline server. we went through this phase where everyone was just posting all over the forums about "quitting" about "leaving and taking a break" well by posting threads like this.. it's almost like you're asking people to feel pity for you. I am a bit of a hypocrite coz i posted one myself.. but with the post i backed it up with reasons to why i was leaving. and i gave solid reasons to why i stayed. - so yea good luck to whatever you choose to do. xD

Bye Kannon and I hope you dont regret deleting your char when Rappelz goes the same way all games do. Online games are not just games they are a business and all businesses need hard cash to keep on keeping on. Using cash shop items on any game isnt a prerequisite and the majority of the items used are what I call *the pretties*. Then there are the items that make the game *easier* to play. I choose to use cash shop items because playing the game is a very relaxing and fun form of entertainment to me. If I spend a $100 a month that is about $3 a day which isnt even the cost of a cup of coffee.

It is sad to see people leave such a great game knowing that all other games will go the same way.

Fiesta has one huge plus over most other games and that is their GM's and I dont like seeing them canned for not doing thier job. No other game I have played have GM's been so obviously doing their work or so approachable. Sure Fiesta has some gold bots and spammers but because of the fast work by GM's they are having to create new chars on a daily basis. There are some disrespectful players on the site, just like in the real world, they are a fact of life and I am sure you will run into them on Rappelz to.
