Gold spammers fighting back?

recently I have noticed the appearance of some bot spammers that will sit in an area and spam messages that just look like a whole bunch of symbols and punctuations followed by a series of numbers. Are the gold spammers mad that they keep getting banned, so now they are just trying to ruin the chatbox or is it just some script kiddies with a penchant for annoying people? Any insights?

I once saw a spammer literally fight back (and fail, lol).

It was at the Elderine gate in Sea of Greed, and someone trained a Smart Phino up there (where the spammer was) so I watched in amusement as he tried fending it off with his level 1 sword before it killed him.

Though it was kinda disturbing, too, because I didn't think they'd actually respond to that kind of thing. o_o"

Actually there are a few types of gold spammers.

One speaks in Chinese characters.
One speaks in Mandarin pinyin.

They are also banned.

Yea, I think I'd recognize that. It's not a language, it's more like symbols. The copyright symbol, tildes, dipthongs, english letters, numbers, ampersands, degree circles, etc.

yep, some gold bots have even resorted to PMing on forums, like how i got a PM just on the weekend. I forgot to report though but when i checked right now it showed it was banned. Or at least i think it was banned as under its name it said Banned instead of member.
