To ensure you all have the best possible experience with a

high-quality game, we have decided to delay the launch of the Fiesta

open beta until Monday, August 27, 2007.


As previously mentioned, all game data will be reset including quest

progression, inventories, skills, etc. Players who participated in the

name preservation events of Closed Beta 1 and 2 will have the names of

qualified characters automatically assigned to new ones of the same

gender and class.


Thanks for your ongoing interest in Fiesta! We look forward to seeing

Some of these guys must have worked for Microsoft at some point. If they cant keep their own deadlines. But then again, its just like the announcement for Closing Clsoed Beta 2, I couldnt find the announcement. It seemed like it was buried one second and next i dont have permission to read it. And then they wait til the last possible moment almost to announce that it wont be up when they said it would be. Good thing this game isnt going to be p2p cause then i could get some revenge...'i sent the payment on monday...oops it wont be sent til friday...oops i meant next thursday...'


but on a serious note, beyond a few typos and maybe the Chest from KQ needing to be fixed and moer Gold Hill KQs being added and Robo KQ being looked at for nerfing so people could actually have a chance of completing it, And refining not being such a money pit in a game that doesnt drop cash from monsters, i couldnt see what difficulty there could be to delay another 4 days.* MAYBE someone from the dev team could post on what the hold up is. We are after all the people they are going to be expecting to pump cash into this game when it goes Open Beta and Then Gold.

For **** sake, give the GMs a breake. Its not like any of you are loosing money from this delay. Every day the open beta is delayed is another day they can't make money and I'm shure they LOVE hearing everyone b****. It is not fun. I know compter geeks and devs all too well - I doubt any of the devs will sleep again until everything is fixed.


My bet is that someone, probably the GMs, were testing the new system when either a server crashed or a critical bug appeared. They probably waited as long as they did in the hopes of a quick patch.


All we can do is wish them luck in fixing the problem and wait for more announcements.


Yeah, it bites, but then so does a lot of stuff in life. Get used to it, find something else to do for a couple more days.

Wow people calm down this is obviously for the better I wnated it to come out just as much as any of you guys but obviously they need to work out some bugs game delays happen all the time even with the major game companies look at rockstar games delaying grand theft auto till next year when it was coming out this fall soo calm down its a 3 day delay no biggie wow atleast its not a month or a year and the game is a free game what more could you want they could easily charge for this game but they dont so everyone just sit back and wait till monday...

Yes, I'm certain that the devs spent all their time making, and testing a game so that they could drive people away. Makes perfect sense. Why didn't the rest of us realize this?


You don't suppose that one of the side benefits of a closed beta test was so that they could give the testers a taste of what's in the cash shop for free? Which would entice you to buy something from it, when the open beta comes. Thereby hopefully generating a profit from this game. Nah, the dev's want to work for free, and not earn anything, because that's how big business works, right?

The game's in beta. There are going to be delays and bugs, and from a few things I saw when I played last there were things that needed to be fixed. As far as I'm concerned, this delay can only be a good thing.





And for anyone still freaking out over losing their characters: If I remember right, you were told as you were signing up that your characters were going to be wiped. It happens! I didn't put a whole lot of effort into a single character for that exact reason.





This game is really fun, I think it could turn out to be great eventually. I do find it a little weird, though, that I'm told I'm not authorized to view news posts on the front page -_-

I... really don't see why you people are all acting up. The GMs are probebly doing the best they can - Just be patient and work with them. Just think about it - This delay is probebly a GOOD thing. It might be adding more options, and new... other stuff. So you might thank them later for it! ;)

There are problaby lots of reasons why they had delay the OB for monday. It would be nice if Outspark opened the beta today or tomorrow, but i highly doubt that. But If that does happen, please don't jinx the moment.
