we have a thief right now, someone named "Huynher" stole greens while grinding with friend, i was lettin my friend kill while i take damage so stuff drops, then he was asking for pt and i told him no, he took greens and ran off.

Well, accusation will get you nowhere without a screen shot. Better forget it and move on. The green item might have worthless stats anyway, we may never know:D

Blacklisting is against the rules as it can lead the ruined reputation of players. Posting a player's name on the forums when they do something offensive can get you an infraction from the CLs and the thread deleted.

As for your drops, once it is open for other players to take, it's all fair game. There's plenty of time to pick up the drops before then. if you are experiencing difficulty in picking up your drops I suggest you hotkey auto pick-up so you can pick up all drops in your immediate vicinity without having to individually click each one.

Even Pm'ing a screenshot won't help. Drop stealing isn't against the ToS. These drops weren't in your inventory, he didn't scam you, you failed to pick up the drops in time and you suffered the consequences.

LOL dude theres like a 15 second frame of when only one person can pick up a drop. if you don't pick it up in time it's anybodies item then. you're loss buddy.

People keep talking about this "window" for drops where no one else can pick them up...I have yet to see it. Every drop I see someone else get, I am able to take (if I feel like being mean), and any drop I get from defeating a mob, I know other people can get, because I have had poeple sitting next to me take a green item before I even have time to click on it to pick it up (before I knew about the auto-pickup functiopn....which, by the way, only picks up 1 item at a time for me). Is this "window" an option or something? It sounds nice, but I, and several people I know, do not get this window for items where only you can grab them.

When a monster die's.. if it is your kill the item will be obtainable to you only (unless in a party) for the first 15 sec.. if you havent picked up by then it becomes anyones item to take


There is no possible way for another player to pick up your items right after you kill something unless they are partied up with you..

By the way, if the item "glows" it means that you can pick it up usually (except for quest items, they can't be picked up for another 25 seconds if they aren't yours). So just let a friend kill a monster and then leave the items on the ground. It will glow for your friend, but not for you for the first 5 seconds. After it starts to glow for you, you can pick it up too.

lol... when someone steal ur loot u cant do anything... just write down his name on a piece of paper and remeber it... then be sure he never have acess to bg and make his life hell

Fighting with Kyo in BG is fun. Extender + Cookie Pack + Tier 3 Scrolls + enhanced gear = Stalemate. I've fought kyo many times in BG, no one ever dies because we were both so buffed up lol. :P

It's fun though. Senseless beatings ftw.

It sounds really nice...as I said...I have had people steal my drops within 2 seconds of them falling (I once had a guy in MT fighting a bat next to me steal a green cleric armor (dropped by a spider) from me...I had enough time to move my mouse over the item and read the name before he took it); and almost every time I see a monster get killed by another player, the item glows indicating I can grab it as well....only rarely do I ever see a drop not glow as soon as it shows up.

The 15 sec frame is built into the game itself... it is not possible to take someones drops right away if you are not partied with them

....I would go around and prove otherwise...but that would make me very unpopular with players and probably result in me being jailed....I do not get the 15 seconds where only I can get the item....I do not get 5 seconds for it...don't say it is impossible, I have seen it on a near-daily basis for the last few months.

lol. Just read the rollover descrip, no more.

Blacklisting, ignorance, and many other factors play into letting someone steal your drops ^^;;

Hotkey the item pick up button and hit it when your drops fall.
Don't wait for someone else to get them.
I can ContinuousKill and loot w/o stopping or dying, So I'm pretty sure you can.
