Quest Glitch

I'm having trouble with one of the quests. When ever I started this one quest, every time I wanted to pull up the quest info, my game would crash and bring up the log-in screen. Also when I went to talk to the guy to finish the quest, my game would crash...again.:confused:

Yes. There are several dozen threads on this already. No solution yet.

When you finish the quest and try to buy anything from Smith James your cpu will crash. For anyone else having trouble with this glitch and trying to purchase any armor and weapons I found a temporary solution.

1.Put money for the items,in the shop, in your bank
2.Create another account or use one that doesn't have that one quest
unfinished or started
3.Take out money using the alternate account
4.Purchase the items needed at the shop
5.Put items you just bought in bank
6.Return to your other account and take out the purchased items in bank

The other thing u can do its to go to forest of mist, when u reach forest, open the map window (M) and go to where a flag is,near a tiny lake. There, u can buy EQ.
