Hello. I dont know if this is the the right place or even if this post is allowed and if it isnt, then im really really sorry but here is my idea...

I know alot about websites and I was looking for an idea for one. I just sold my last website for $2000 bucks so I think im rather skilled in this field (not to brag or anything). I then thought of maybe a site kinda like E-bay but for fiesta weapons and other fiesta items. Of course, it would be 100% free. You could list your item at a starting price and/or a buy now price. You wouldnt be bidding with real money, instead, your fiesta money!

If your looking for an item, you can search by server, item type, price, lvl, damage, END, STR...ext, anything.

So yea, if you guys think this is a good idea or not at all, please tell me.

There is an auction house feature that is in the works for Fiesta. it would do everything you described, and would be implemented in-game most likely so you wouldn't have to go to another website.

Ugh. Well im going to make this site anyways. If they do come out with an in-game version, then so be it.

Here is a simple break-down of what i had in mind: Users have to register to buy/sell items.

When you go to sell and item, there will be sections where you have to give all the stats for weps/armor like a box for END, ect. You would have to include name, required lvl, item level, +?, 1h/2h, dmg, cr,aim...ect. And for other items, you would just add the name and description. You would then set starting price and/or a Buy Now price. Then ppl bid on your item!

When you buy items, all you would do is search for what you want by class,type,lvl,dmg,spr,end...ect. Then, you would place a bid for that item. If you win that item, then the seller will get a message saying it was sold. the seller and the customer can chat about where to exchange in-game. If the customer wins the item, and doesnt have the money to pay, then we can just have like a rating system and leave him/her a bad review.

So tell me what you guys think and i always need some ideas!

The one in-game doesn't work that well.
I'd hope it would be something everyone would use, more frequently. I like it when People actually get involved. In game, theres usually only 5 posts for the auction house. :(

It's not official word, but I've heard that it is in the works, so not entirely sure the timeframe on it.

A lot of people type while moving, and click to move because it's just more convenient. Just click and your character goes around the obstacles! (I hate those Steps in Elderine. I always get lag-kicked back to the bottom if you walk too close to the edge!)

I'm sure a lot of people here are good at graphics. Why don't you ask for some things, and if anyone wants to, just post them here so you can choose the best one! Let us know the resolution. I'll try to make one too!

I took some classes in school for CSS, Java and HTML, But I can't remember that well.
Plus I can make flashes! Just not directory flashes. You'd have to make them link yourself T__T
It's just too bad Job's nowadays don't take you seriously! You need that degree to prove you can use Microsoft Word :\

I thought of something else to add, When you register to sell stuff, you will get your own little shop thing. It will list all the items your selling and your reviews and stuff. Your shop address will be like shops.fiestabid.com/YOURUSERNAME

Shoud that be a feature to include or no?

yea, I agree, it would be nice if people don't want to search by item, they could just browse by user, that way they could find their friends and buy from them.

That's neat looking! But Personally it looks a bit too big. Is there more of a way you can shrink it, or even overlay the words over the Hammer? Or even make the auction hammer be used with the text, or more of a symbol beside it?
I love the colors though. It's VERY nice!

Well here is a list of stuff we have now:


Simple Search (Search by item name and server)

Advanced Search (Can search by item name, server, class, type(weap/armor/ring/ect.), stats(+str, +end, +int, ect), required level)

Member Search (If you have a friend or know a good seller, you cansearch all the items he/she is selling)

Shops: Every members will get a shop. There shop address will http://shops.fiestabid.com/USERNAME. There, it will list the items your selling and th feedback your customers left you. (I was thinking of adding a little like about me or a profile thing that will show on your shop, i just dont want it to be like to myspace-ish. Please tell me your thoughts on this idea.)

Selling: Every member can sell items, all they have to do is click the "Sell Item" link on the home page when they login. You will enter all the info about the item your selling. You will also enter a starting price and starting day. You will then enter a end day and if you want, a "Buy Now" price. You will be notified when someone bids on/wins your item. You can then send messages to the customer about where to deliver and stuff like that.

The selling page isnt complete yet so im not exactly sure how ill make it.

I think that would be smart. That way if someone has a good profile, people can know that they can trust that person. Maybe have a rating system for members like the rep system on the forums. So if there is someone who scams people, potential buyers can look at the rating and know not to buy from them, or if that person has a good rating, buyers will know they are trustworthy.

Click Advanced Search, then select Weapons and select Fighters, dont type anything in the Item Name field.

Here's a suggestion for your site, which, by the way, seems like an incredibly brilliant idea.

1. I know it may take some time, and I think people would help out, but instead of just having the item name be a free text field, maybe have an internal database that has all the basic items (weap and armor) and options for special names for green/blue items. I bet some of the Outspark staff might even be able to give you a basic list. This way there is not the possibility of something getting glossed over due to a typo. Not sure how hard it would be but when filling out your form, you could start with class and then weap or armor and it will show a list of all avail items in a drop down and they just pick the right one. Something along those lines.

2. Maybe, if it's possible, install a rating system like ebay has so that people can leave feedback on the seller/buyer. That might help the real good power sellers to show their worth and respectiblity. Might be good also for those willing to sell item enhancing services for set amounts and allow them to build a reputation via the rating system.

All in all this is a really great idea and although I'm not a coder at all if you ever need any help with anything just ask and I'll see what I can do.

dont crucify me for this but theres already a fiesta bid site up, working and has been running for over a month, is pretty much the same thing but urs seems to have more of a fiesta theme. but this one looks like it will be good as well
