Along with downloading fiesta you get a Bit torent. That Bit Torent scans your computer for open ports and sends it to a hacker! Fiesta needs to remove this before they loose members!

Yeah I think that's highly unlikely, and even if that was the case, you'd have to download the bittorrent file first to have the "hacker" get your fiesta data.
I just kept the file aside for a few mins, and after I figured out fiesta worked without it, I just deleted it (assuming I did have a file like that, which I can remember so vaguely that it might just be my imagination :P )

No offense, but you are a moron on the topic. Stop listening to your friends. Bit torrent is just a distributed downloading method to allow less strain and bandwidth traffic on the site.

? isn't the concept of torrent that it uses your computer as a zomby, as a benefit of access to downloads, it uses your computer as an upload source so other users can utalize your upload capacity (seeds) to help them download files and thus others have access to that (? and other) files on your computer?
Thus it needs to know what ports are open so others can access your computer and upload files/ information from your system ?!
Would think this is what firewalls and anti-hack programs were suposed to stop.
