View Full Version : Spark Cash pots in General Store?

I've been thinking about this a lot, but I haven't seen anything else about it in the forums...I'm a newb mage, and have been trying to aoe. The thing is...that it's super hard to do so, with my mp running out so fast. So I started looking at the SC Pots. I really hate to dish out my money on things that I know are going to run out very fast. (I feel like I did when I payed for cigarettes ;_; ) So I was wondering why we don't have pots in the General Store that heal more than just 20 mp :s . I'm not saying we need all of them in there, although that would be super nice :D, but something that heals more than 20mp, like 30-50mp per potion would be cool. It's just something I was thinking about, and wanted to see what everyone else thought...If you like the idea, let me know :/

dude i been here since OCTOBER. I've seen aproximately 100,000 threads EXACTLYL like this one. Threads like this are kind of a joke to older players and forum lurkers like me. and THATS why Khrim owes me a quarter for it. If i had a quarter for everytime i've seen this thread, I'd almost be up to like 20USD. Also feel free to report any major issues in the link in my Siggy.

Sorry but thrakx is not wrong. They really earn a lot of money by selling those potions in the cash shop and won't bring them ingame. There was even someone that said he spends $300 on them in a week.
There's maybe a 1% chance that they add better potions ingame in a year or so but they'll still be way weaker than the cash shop ones (maybe 40/60 HP/MP, extremely heavy and kron-expensive).

they said that early on in OB (almost half a year ago...)

they've had plenty of time to do it...

Not quite true.
Early OB they said "There will be better pots soon". And soon after that they added them to the cash shop. They never talked about pots ingame, though most people might have thought it.

The Spark Store keeps the game running. (Gah my hands burn for typing this!)

They may add the sc pots that heal for 100 in the general stores. But they'll be heavier in wt, and kron. Then outspark will just probably go add pots that heal for 500 something in the store. That's how they work. Nothing for us who can't buy sparkcash

WE KNOW THAT!

*slaps forehead*

things is, there are more effective ways of making money than having such a game breaking cash shop...

i always use regular pots for AOE, it is possible to spam them, and knowing the limits of how much to tank(it's more feasable than spaming pots previouslywhen there wwas the AOE bug). it's doable, it just takes 100-150 pots per AOE, and the extreeme weight of the pots means that you need to re-pot every run or every second run.

actually it would be good if we had to purchase something expensive from the general store. we have no use for the money, more money coming into the economy form AOE NPC sales, never leaving the economy it just piles up, causing inflation, hence raises in xen prices etc. we need a reason to save kron, it gives an objective for running a healthy economy.

yeah thralk and khrim, there have been a million threads about this.

Allthough its not a bad idea moving cash shop pots in the game store I can never see this happening. If you are unhappy with the "small pots" then use a different item. There are lots of drops from monsters that give +30/+50/+800 HP and MP all you have to do is go out and hunt for them. A little hard work never hurt anybody.
I even know a player who uses nothing but Fairy Spheres when he AoEs which is a pretty good idea since he doesn't need to share exp with an Aco or a Cleric.

A few item examples are:

Butter
Salt
Fairy Spheres
Cakes
cheese

Um toru, i agree with u there, with finding stuff like salt and that, but the simple fact is that its real hard to find that stuff, most of it like butter and salt only drops on mobs which r like 40 and a below, so apart from hoping that some one sells them in stores, then its almost impossible to egt them, plus they get used up real fast, i haven't had one of those drops in 3 months, even when i was on the game gring like my life depended on it, maybe an increased drop rate of them would help and allowing them to drop on higher lv mobs, that could help sort this prob out, this is my opinion!!

oh toru one q, how is it beinga cl?

would like to have pots that have at least 40 hp and mp restore, since the SC shop already has 50 and more

Solstice is destined for even more fail than i expected then...

btw, Nights_fang sorry, i don't know you, so i didn't know if you were one of those that sucked up to outspark or one of those that actually had a head. I see you are the latter ^.^

:confused:why do they insist on calling this game ftp. I have nor ever will spend money in a cash shop. such a cheap trick to pull:mad:

is Fiesta the same way or is that one fair to all who play?:p

Ryokosha

Fiesta is the only F2P MMORPG I played so far that is enjoyable without the cash shop. :-)

SoS is like the other extreme...
