It better be top 10 get Pegasus

Hello, I'm Cookiethief in the Bijou server. I placed 6th in the Isya Blossom contest. I have been hearing that only the top 5 are getting the pegasus? That cant be true. At 7:31 p.m on Tuesday June 10th an announcement was made that said "At the end of the event the top 10 players on each server will win a... wait for it...wait for it...PEGASUS!" I even took a screenshot of it and I'll post a picture of the announcement below. I hope there wasnt some kind of screw up, I sold +9 weapons and armor from 2 characters, including myself, that I wasnt even done useing yet so I could buy Blossoms and I would seriously consider quiting Fiesta if they *#$% me over like this.:mad:

Easy for you to say DemonBlitz, Did you spend hours collecting blossoms? And its not a cash shop item. You think they would do a contest like this for a Fiesta cash item? And one last thing, why do you think they have items for sale that dont have any stats in the fiesta store? Obviously people buy them anyway because they want thier character to look cool and stand apart from the others. Contests have rules, if the rules change in the middle people get upset. Is that really so hard to understand?

its the top five as far as i know.. first place gets a black pegasus, second to fifth get white pegasus. if you look on the rankings page, its the top five that are bold, not the top ten.

well... while talking to silky today, he mentioned it was only for 30 days, but he could have been just referring to something else. I'll ask and screen shot when he pops up in Uruga tomorrow.

I personally don't think selling a bunch of stuff, spending a crapload of money isn't worth it. Targon actually farmed most of his and he got 3rd place on Teva.

I saw the same notice on Epith I just didn't take a screen of it. After my first 50 blosooms I knew it wasn't something I wanted to compete in. because I saw how people were buying most of theirs and I just don't have the silver. But hey all those who did complete all that gratz for having the patience to do something I did not have the patience to do. :D

I can tell you that:

- Top 5 gets Pegasus

- Pegasus mount is 30 days

- Top 30 are invited to Wedding

I asked Fiesta_Help about this and once I heard the mount had a time limit, I stopped collecting. I do not want to spend like 100 gold on something that isn't permanent. Plus, I was 50 Isya Blossom stacks away from the 5th place rank so I had no chance to compete anyway.

I farmed almost all of mines so i had a legit number, and was only rank 5 =/ but ifeel kinda bummed for the numbers 6-10 because they did annouce top 10 gets it, because you have the proof screen shot.

Yeah, top 10 deserve a prize if that was what they said. And they should be ALOT more than 30 days (like infitite) for the amount of effort put in for this event. Date a GM was just answering a few questions and the winners (all participants?) got permanent prizes for that. The design a siggy contest got permanent prizes. Maybe we're just unlucky to get very hard event and only a 30 day prize :confused::mad:

I spent 2g, which people who know me will know, thats the most i can ever save up at any one time because i spend it too much :D
It was possible to get into, and stay in the top 10 simply by gathering alot. I found i could get 30 blossoms in an hour gathering at the flower patch in roumen between the forest of tides and sand beach gate.

I saw top 10 too when it was announced. This is totally's unfairs! E..even though I didn't get top 10 XD

Also, i think i spent 1.5 gold to get into 11th place. Still wasn't enough. I shoulda stopped and started selling my Isya when I had the chance :(

You have to realize that this is a competition.

The ranks are posted. Anyone at any given time can turn in blossom quests to make their rank jump.

We've told players in game and through the Fiesta_Help box that it is Top 5 who will be awarded a Pegasus.

#1 - Black Pegasus
#2 - White Pegasus
#3 - White Pegasus
#4 - White Pegasus
#5 - White Pegasus

Each of them are 30 Day durations.

it may have been their old plans and then changed after. Or they made a mistake in the announcement and made a different one later on. But now, as we all know, those are the rules as Fiesta_Help has stated and most likely will not be changed.

Maybe you should of broadcasted that valuable information on June 10th instead of telling everyone that the top 10 were going to get a pegasus, that way I wouldnt of wasted my time and gold on this crappy event! And if you rocket scientist decided to change the rules at some point it would of been nice to let us know instead of us finding out after the fricken event was OVER! Gawd you guys SUCK!

Top 5 - if it was posted different and was not updated, then I'd say quote that and forward it to Fiesta_Help directly. Other than that, better luck next time.

I have always thought this was a crappy event, I wouldnt do it unless I thought I was going to get something out of it, like I was told I would I would by that notice. Is getting mad and stating the facts flaming? Fine, I'm flaming. You expect me to be happy? Get real. God gave us the ability to get angry for a reason, and this qualifies in my book. And whats your problem anyway Demonblitz? You've done nothing but antagonize me since my first post. Always doublecheck the events on the forums after seeing such announcement.

They are human and can make mistakes sometimes.

Its a competition. As if the number 6 on all the other servers are happy they didnt win.. ofcourse not, but they accept their loss and say "gg all".

If it was originally announced as top 10 and not updated then I'd agree you have a reason to complain.

If it was originally advertised as top 10 and later updated to top 5 but you didn't see the notice, then I see no reason to complain.

If you feel it was the prior rather than the latter, then submitting your concerns with a quote of the original posting, if possible, and maintaining a calm, respectful tone is the best method towards potential solution.

In any event the only persons that can resolve this are the GMs. Seeing as you have PMd them and this thread is wandering close to the flames, I am going to go ahead and close it.
