hi i know dramatic title over the top? :rolleyes: but im annoyed what IS the best way for a lvl 47 fighter to rreach lvl 50? PLEASE HELP!!!!

Uruga AoE is probably the fastest, you'll be hard-pushed to get a spot there these days though.

Actually there are good number of level 40s that AoE in uruga. Not many 50-60+s AoE there, unless they need something for a quest. Otherwise they go somewhere else.

Do your quests, they will help you a great deal. KQ when you can, and grind in abyss. AoE's in abyss would probably be good as well.'

Remember this game isn't about leveling fast. It's about having fun and playing the game.

Yep. And if you are good enough with stones and pots you can solo the abyss for a while and get good mats and XP.

It's not really that complicated. Just take your time reading them. Most of the quests you'll have will be in GC. They tell you where you need to go and what you need to do, and they tell you what NPC to go to.
If some seem a bit hard to do, get a party going.

If you have a lot of quests, just focus on doing the ones that are on the same map first. And just do one at a time. I generally save any harvesting quests for last.

Quests are things that you're gonna have to learn to love to do, considering you won't get very many at higher levels, and they are essential to a little boost in leveling.

At level 47 there is a repeat quest for goblin captains in goblin camp to get their caps. Just keep doing that. You shouldn't have a problem with those mobs at your level. It gives pretty good exp and best of all it gives concentration scrolls that cannot be produced and you can sell them for some good money.

If I remember correctly there is also a quest to get sand mushroom heads and you can find the sand mushrooms at the same place as goblin captains. Just kill them as you kill the captains and submit both quests repeatedly.

Goblin captains quest are either from the warrior master or smith. The mushroom quest is from smith.

If you can't find any mobs, just post and ask. I'll try to give you the locations. Same for quest questions. :)

Depending on ur built... if dd, get a bunch of t3 scrolls... **evasion, def and vit are a must... if no t3 eva... t2 or t1 ish okie** then aoe the smaller rooms alone.... Don't pull all.. test ur limits first with how many mobs u can take to kill "tank" without being overly dependent on pots and stones... The same goes to tanker too...

But if u really wanna get wild... then fine an archer with brains on how to do aoe... or a mage who is brave enough to aoe with u.... "in short... u take damage.... and they mass kill" Aoe in big and full pts usually are not worth it... but then again that's my opinion... **btw... its besh that they use t3 scrolls too... just in case..."

Edit... if u can kill fast "dd" then a cleric would be helpful too... but then again... its ur choice...

I say that's a waste... since goblin capts does extreme skills hits **remember sharp boars in fom when u 15-25** same rules apply or like nox hits... they do extreme damage... i say the pots and stones that u use to kill those goblin captains are better utilised for abyss soloing then... compared to soloing those goblin captains... plus dont tell me about aoeing goblin captains alone at his level... its suicide, a waste and silly... i say... go aoe in abyss... u get sbl, sbt and what not... and a lot too when u solo... *compare to the cant be made pots or scrolls* u got more demands... and people pay high for them... so in ur case mate... go solo aoe or aoe in abyss...

No one is asking him to aoe and my fighter who is str/spr build did exactly that. The exp reward from the quest is sufficient to level fast. The damage isn't that hard either and the only stones I spammed were sp stones. By doing the 2 quests, I levelled up in a couple of hours.

Did you actually try soloing goblin captains at level 47? IF you did then you would know it is neither 'a waste' nor 'silly'. If you didn't then.......

Just treat them like any other level. Just do your quests, and find a nice place to grind out the rest if you don't have repeats. You could go to abyss, or you could go kill some Harkans in CP/SEG. Or whatever monster you find to be a good median that fits your grinding style.

SEG is Scaffold Execution Ground. It's pretty much a map that has the exact same monsters as CP, but more of them. You can get there through CP.

I think at level 48 you can still do the sandmushroom quest and there are other repeat quests too. Same for 50. I didn't do the level 50 repeats only because I was working on my licenses for my axe on weakened ogres and harkans. Those are 2 mobs you should be able to handle well too. Just avoid the ogres. You can take them on but they take so long to kill for little exp so its a waste.

Do your quests? @_@
You should have a sand ratman quest with 2 parts. Whilst doing them, do the repeat of the sand mushroom quests. Other than that it would be plain old grinding.

If I remember correctly there is only one repeat quest for level 48 so unless you wish to keep doing that you just have to grind.

Well, you have a few choices. Either continue in gc or go to seg, cp or abyss to solo.

It really depends on your own preference.

My archer soloed on goblin captains and so did my friend's fighter. My fighter soloed on harkans and weakened ogres.

There are no Ratmen in CP. I'm pretty sure that quest is for Sand Ratmen in GC.

There is a spot right next to the Peak gate where two will spawn. And they respawn rather fast. There is also another spot past the bridge near the Vine Tomb gate where another two spawn.

The only ratmen you'll have quests for are the ones in CP1

Yep. As shadowic said, the best spot is next to the concealed peak entrance. You will get 2 spawning there quite fast and as a bonus you can do the sand mushroom head quest as well as they will spawn nearby. Just stay there and keep killing. After the 50 you will need to get chesthair. I think you need 10 from them.

no lol i know ratmen are in gc but i have a cp quest for harkan BUT THEY NEVER DROP THERE QUEST ITEMS IN 1 HOUR I ONLY GOT 3 OUT OF 10!!! is it worth doing? good exp and money

Can't help with that question I'm afraid. I'm particular about finishing all my quests, even those that have bad exp. LOL

If it helps, just grind on harkans and the drops and extra exp from quest is a bonus. :)

for lvl 47 I solo aoed in SEG on harkans and colls. That to me has been the fastest xp. 50-60 I solo aoed in uruga. I found that I levelled faster doing a solo AOE in those two places, than being in an AOE pt at blue trumpies without a 6x mage. I still solo 99.9% of the time. Who says that a pure end ftr cannot solo grind? To those of you who say you can't try getting 6 lvls in 2 days at 61-67 by SOLOING!!! Overall, unless you have a 60+ mage, don't bother doing an AOE, just solo. And for all the cleric who whine about lvling, I got a cleric from 61-66 in 2 days. So please don't whine to me. This was also by soloing 90% of the time during these levels.

Just keep up with your quests as you get them, rather than saving them until later. Especially if they are drop quests. If you ignore drop quests until later, you will be unable to get the drops and miss out on 100k+ xp at higher levels.

Then start experimenting with other monsters. If those aren't giving you enough, then move to higher level mobs.

You are really helpless aren't you? lol.

I don't know what you blew your money on, but you should know better than to leave yourself with not enough to at least get stones.

If you have production skills I suggest you try working on these for money.Or you can go farm herbs/sap. Just because you have no stones it doesn't mean you can't fight. You just have to be careful and pace yourself, and use your House to rejuvenate yourself.

I've already explained to you how you could make money without stones.

Some of the herbs in uruga you can get to without having to worry about monsters. And the ones that you do encounter shouldn't give you too much trouble anyways. My fighter can kill Orcs, Orc Hunters, and King Mushrooms without having to use a stone in the fight, and she's 48. You just have to make sure you rest after each fight, and be more careful of how you approach things.

Or you can Duo with a cleric somewhere, but have them understand that you will be shrooming a lot because you lack stones. At least they will keep your HP in check.

Or you could just make another character and just spend your time working on Stone Production, sell those stones, and then give all of the profit to your fighter.

Just go to Moonlight Tomb and pick herbs, mushrooms and wood. Even if you just NPC the items you'll get enough copper to restone.

I think you are old enough to figure it out for yourself like all of us did. Common sense tells you yellow mobs give you more exp than green because they are around your level and green is below your level. Anything above like orange and red gives you more exp. Where you grind is up to your personal preference. Quests are a good indication of what mobs are around your level.
