Well some of you might know, and some might not but there is a chance that the Eu players will get Ip blocked from this version of fiesta.

I want to make a list of Eu players of apoline just so we know which awsome, and less awsome people we might lose.

I have just looked at the european forums and made some comments there, the replies are far from satisfactory, with the fact that is we have our chars wiped deal with it, the game is a lottery :mad:

Also no answers as to whether they will block our ips, but is looking likely, they make negative comments about outspark :eek:

And if i didnt have my family here i would move to the us just to play ;)

But in all seriousness this situation is just not funny anymore, this game hit my pocket seriously bad, through my own choice granted:p but to then lose all that money, all my friends lose my chars 5 lvls from cap, <sighs>

Outspark will NOT wipe your characters. Even if European IPs are banned, your accounts I'm sure will remain intact. Our accounts are not IP specific.

It is not outsparks call, its the Eu company's call. Outspark already demanded the other company to bann the USA players of it so outspark wouldnt lose money.

outspark arent trying nothing, read the other site, and immore eager to believe them then outspark.

outspark just blocks it as much as possible, the other guys asked for our info so we could continue our character there, outspark doesnt want to give, so now theyr trying to find something out and it wouldnt have any use for the EU company yet to demand to Ip ban us cause theyr stil in Beta face where things still get deleted.
Yes there the beta fase actually end unless using it like a lame excuse for all the things that are broken en messed up.

Well the key phrase there is that you are "more eager to believe them". This stems from your personal dissatisfaction with Outspark. Frankly I find the other company extremely unprofessional in the way they are handling things. Whenever someone pushes the blame to the opposition, I find there is usually some hidden agenda.

If you know that the call isn't up to Outspark to make, just let things get settled and wait for the official announcement. Creating 1,000,0001 threads about it isn't going to help move things along. So far all the claims the other company has made are simply their side of the story. Personally I never just listen to one side. When Outspark is ready, they will tell us the official stance on this. I think that is the best thing we can do. Wait for the official news.

Do you think that dissing Outspark is going to help matters? Any company that disses another like that other company has done makes them unprofessional in any book. As I said, that's exactly what happened in my other game. IPs were blocked to begin with but they eventually sorted it out so only new accounts were blocked and existing ones were allowed to continue.

From what we are reading and being told hopefully this matter with relation to our chars should be resolved very soon, it would appear to be a matter of law rather than sheer stubborness, well i am hoping so.

Surely if we do not get our char and we have not breached any tos, and it is not stated that we can have our chars deleted for any reason then the money they have received from us was taken dishonestly, which again is a point of law.

Maybe that is the point of law they are looking into:D

I don't want to lose you Meiu!! T.T this is such a sad event. I'm in Australia, so this won't affect me, but I do feel that it's a terrible thing to have happen. If I was in teh same situation, as an European player, then I'd be kicking up the biggest fuss about this, yet it wouldn't even matter as it has nothing to do with Outspark - Onson Soft own this, and they are trying to get as much money as possible, which means setting up seperate licences to other gaming companies, WHICH MEANS that Outspark now have to make as much cash as humanly possible before they lose a massive chunk of their players. Cue Asian items. Cue the loss of 7-day items. etc etc.

Sorry for going off-topic... but I, like many other people, really want to know MORE. Did Outspark ever announce this happening, or was it a random forum member who posted the news? If it wasn't Outspark, then that's a bit decietful of them as this is a major descision that affects many many people. Why they can't at least just say 'hey, we are aware of what is happening, but are unable to say anything at this time due to not knowing the details ourselves, thankyou' I really don't know. It would shut us all up at least. lol.

Wll there are many alternative ways around this in my opinion which Outspark can help with,

1) have a cut off where after a certain date they no longer except EU ips but allowing those already registered to continue playing, ( this is my favoured one, allows me to play with my friends and my chars)

2) If this has to take place transfer all our chars to the other sites, we have spend sooo much time, money, hard work sweat and tears in here develping our chars, is it fair after we have given you our money to delete our chars?

3)IF we are not allowed to play here anymore, AND you are going to delete our chars without any breech of tos, refund the moneys paid into the chars, as anything else is just dishonest, and may lead to legal actions.

There are more but hey :rolleyes:

The main thing is i stumbled over a post about this by accident, they chased it up on the eu site, i have not had really anything from anyone else, i know that Serric has been baring the brunt of most of the comments, and i take my hat off to him, its not easy as we are all very passionate about this.

But people need to be treated like people and not mushrooms ( kept in the dark and fed on shhhhi oh well) lol

Just a few thoughts, but i am trying to remain hopeful, even if we do get our chars it will take a very long time, they have not started the English closed beta yet, then a char wipe, then open beta and another char wipe:eek:

And if we get our chars we will be able to play when the full game is released.

So im hoping i can stay here well forever hopefully this is where all my friends are, and of course my chars:D and i want to keep them ty :p

It would so fabulous is they made it so that there is a cut-off date, but then the European Fiesta people wouldn't be all too pleased at the thought that they may not be getting all the players they can from this.

Also, from what I know with these things (got 1st hand info from someone on the 'inside') there really is no way to transfer a character to another server, let alone an entirely new game. Basically, the only choice is indeed to start over. Which is so cruel, but it is business.

And legal actions... hmm... I do feel there is some dishonesty going on here for sure, but I'm not sure of any legal ramifications that may come about from this. This version is in beta, they're going to scream that all the way. It is simply your choice to play, and definitly your choice to buy anything. I hear ya, I really do, and I would feel the same, but I just don't know if Outspark is that willing to give back that much money really. They'd find a loophole if they really need to, but do they?

Which is a good thing, i believe there is a point of law which no one knows exactly which bit lol which needs to be sorted prior to this taking place, which again i dont mind waiting for my chars as long as i get them.

I as with many other people have stated that if this does not happen we will NOT be starting again, be will be requesting our money back for items 'purchased' for our chars which will have been taken from us.:(
And yes it is a choice to buy something, but if you went to the shop to buy something paid for it, and received nothing, would you walk away? i dont know anyone who would, money and items have been transfered, although virtual items they still have been paid for, and with no breach of tos, and no expiry time limit on the items, surely they cannot be taken away, i will have to research the international law on this one, lol

But again i am remaining hopeful that we can stay, as the whole point of a mmo is to get so many diff people together, if i just wanted to be around English people i'd go to the park instead!!!

So by all accounts the transfering of our chars is not a big prob, more the legal side of what ever it is they are trying to sort that is:confused:

But again im still remaining hopeful, but lining up new games just incase, may need to pull some friends with me tho :p

For those keeping up with this, below is a post made on EU forums from the powers that be :D

One more question officially answered:

gamigo has exclusive rights for Europe, Outspark has exclusive rights for USA, Canada and Mexico. Both companies are obligated to block the players of the corresponding countries. gamigo doesn't except registration outside the EU already and I expect, that Outspark will do the same soon.

It's still open what happens with the accounts, that have been created before the EU-Version was announced. If they are IP-blocked as well, gamigo will try to make an Acc-Transfer (complete character, all stats and items) into a separate Advance-Server. If this is not possible, the US players will get some kind of compensation for their invested money (value and process is still undecided).

As I said, this is the current status. Discussions between Outspark and gamigo are running. We will tell you when there is more information, but suggest that the European players wait for the EU-Version.

Well one of the outspark staff did something unprofessional again(not the first time) and deleted al the threads, outspark doesnt make any notices of it, they act like nothing is going on.

Now outspark already demanded the EU site to bann the USA Ip's, yet the Eu site didnt do the same yet.

They are making efforts to get our character information, but outspark refuses, they prolly want to keep all the Eu players cause they big bucks for them.

Out of curiosity, did it occur to anyone that the reason things are taking so long to resolve is because Outspark is trying to find a way to keep those existing European players?

Freedom of speech has been thrown around these threads with no substance. Making derogatory remarks about Outspark isn't freedom of speech. It is being rude and obnoxious and against the rules. Perhaps if less 'freedom of speech' (as defined by some) has been exercised, those threads may not have been deleted. It isn't the first time Outspark has deleted threads which contains offensive materials or words. So take a few minutes to consider that the threads may have been deleted for the offensive posts and not due to the issue.

If anything Outspark's biggest mistake is in thinking that their players are mature enough to know that by not issuing a statement, they are making the statement that the issue has not been resolved.

Discuss the issue if you wish. It is understandable that we have concerns about this issue as we have all developed ties in game and some have spent money on the game. However, do keep the accusations and derogatory remarks to a minimum unless you wish the thread to be deleted again. Or has it skipped everyone's notice that the threads are still open?

Most importantly, do not be drawn into other people's personal agenda of displeasure with Outspark. Do not be pawns. Think for yourselves.
