Hmm. I'll be honest with you: they're alright in the "just for laughs, make it fast" mentality, but as far as artistic ability, you need a lil' bit more practice. Don't get me wrong, you have a knack for it, and with some time and training, you can really take this place by storm!
To me, it seems that you're used to simply putting words on tops of a picture. It's rather hit-and-miss, and more often you DO hit, as far selecting a proper font type goes. Unfortunately, the layout and compositional areas of your talent need some fine-tuning.
As for the type you use, the outcomes are understood well enough, and the quotes are decent. However, the type is often somewhat illegible, requiring the viewer to strain their eyes on an image that should easily, quickly, and effectively introduce and showcase the signature's owner and the artist's ability.
I believe that with this thread, your skills will improve GREATLY, since here you have a veritable sea of talented artists at your disposal, all of whom are willing to instruct you and critique your work. The people I would trust for advice are Cha0sTribe, bladetsukasa, and omenra. I'd like to also extend my hand to you, as a sign of welcome and open acceptance of your ability, in hopes of furthering your talents. :3
BTW, my favorite (and a very good example) is the magebutterfly.jpg. Perfect font type, but kinda dark, which makes it difficult to read. Still, I love the whole impact. :3
