Giant Huneying KQ

Hello, as you all know I am here to talk about the Giant Huneying KQ for levels 40-50 and I just have 1 question. Is that quest even possible to beat? I have been in it like a million times and there is NO WAY that it is remotely possbile without all 10 people being level 50 with +150 str,dex,end for stats. The farthest i have gotten is a few monsters on the very last ring of the mountain killed and then boom....done...no more...

Yes this quest has had a few successes and yes, it is hard unless you are lucky enough to get enough level 50 dds in it. If you're in Apoline, there are a few threads with screenies of its success and we have a current recruitment thread for honeying kq.

get all ur lvl 48~50 friends

1~2 tanker, 2~3 cleric, rest DD (wif some +9s). and im almost certain tht its gona succeed

mage & archer is the key 2 winning this KQ (ummm... i meant mage, not so much archer :D)

It's quite easy to beat, just depends on the pt you have. I've beaten it on a couple occassions and here is what I reccomend your full pt have:
1~2 Tanks.
2 Clerics, 1 with Endure to buff everyone.
7~6 DD's (Mages work well at this stage, since Archers don't have Nature's Mist at 50)

The main tank pulls a big mob and if he does his/her job right, the clerics only have to worry about healing him/her while the DD's shred the mob to dust. If the main tank falls, the other tank (if you have 2) can take over while he's getting revived. If the clerics pull their weight, this shouldn't be a problem. Continue to pull big mobs and shred them to tiny pieces until you reach the GH (Giant Honeying). The main tank again will pull the GH, and I reccomend right to the entrance of the GH's level, so the other tank can pull away the Mini Honeyings that spawn by the tens from GH. Half, or one-quarter of the DD's focus on the Mini Honeying mobs while the other half, or three-quarters focus on the GH. If everyone does their job right, (and a few +9's don't hurt) then I suspect you should have a successful KQ. :) Good luck.

btw just a note idc about spelling. We have had 2 or 3 tanks a mage or two and a like 2 or 3 clerics and im an archer and every party I have had has made it to the last ring and there are like 50 monsters up there right at the beginning and theres like 2 or 3 mins left if we are lucky, my last KQ though I was pretty lucky though! most of the people in the KQ were 47-50, we made it pretty far but not far enough to get to the wolves that are on that map (I have never gotten that far). But idk how you guys can get a perfect party together though, alot of my friends dont do anything that wont affect them in a good way, and everyone in my guild is too high. But I will try and try, I for one highly doubt I will ever be in a successful one but I will keep trying

I went to Honeying and all i got was this lousy t-shir..er i mean mats!

One pointer in killing Honeying, a good party is NOT all that is needed. Much like Mini Dragon KQ, you may need to move honeying when mobs respawn. We only moved him on the last mob, we just aoed the others for time, but the last one is definitely too many. Everyone outside as soon as mobs at the end start spawning. We did, killed honeying outside, and ran in to clean up the mob which hadnt even scattered xD

And again much like MD hardcore, u get like 20-40s worth of mats as the typical reward. But it is possible to get a chess filled with goodies; I got an enhanced 70 armor, mats, scrolls and stones out of a single MD hardcore chest.

lmao! Good eyes! Actually, I have screenied honeying ownage a number of times, and chose the ones i thought made a good little story for the postings xD. The first time at 49 I as too nervous to make good screenies and even forgot the success shot xD
