I have read a few posts on here (to many).* And Ive heard about enhancing weapons and or enchant whichever you may call it.* I was wondering how is the enchant system in this game.* How is it laid out.* Is enchanting realy hard not to fail or is it 1 of those really easy to do things?!* Is there like gems or stones of some sort you add into a socket?!
Thanks guys.*

Its called enhancement and yes its hard, very hard. You buy/mine stones such as lix or elrue then go to a smith pick a weapon and a stone and once the enhancement wheel begins to turn it could either upgrade the weapon, downgrade, cause no upgrade or downgrade, or just completly destroy the weapon.
Thats why most people suggest you either dont enhance a weapon you might lose, or just go up to +3 for glow :P.

i had a character in CB2 and i was literaly UNABLE to enchant any item past +3.
I saw my frinds go to +7 without missing so i guess that makes me UNLUCKY ENCHANTER.
I gave my stones to my friend and the armor and asked him to do it for me. He did it to +5 then the armor was destroyed. I guess that makes me CURSED.
hope i do better in OB. Wish u do the same.

so its like playing wheel of fortune and not getting onto bankrupt :)
So my next question is are stats like hp maybe attack or anything able to be added to weapons?! or is it like you said +1 +2 +3 and thats it?! Or do they drop with different options? like say a sword might drop with +2 attack and a staff might drop with +2 intel +4 magic dmg. Kind of like a diablo drop?! or are all weapons plain and carry same stats as all others its just hte + makes the big difference?!
Are these stones for enchancement hard to find?! Or are they farely common ?

ok question about NPC now. Do the npc's sell the best weapons in game? or are there rare weapon drops?

o.o Errr If I remember correctly only some weapons have stat pts like str, spr, on them, if thats what your looking for you could easily find that in accessories such as rings which give large boosts of stats. No not all weapons have the same stats, most just give you an increase in weapon damage and defense.
No those stones arent hard to get at all unless you want something semi rare and expensive like blessed elrue or lucky lix. Many players in fiesta sell elrue for like 40 C each? not expensive at all.

As for now NPC's sell the best weapons in game. I dont even think monsters drop weapons....or at least I've never gotten a weapon drop from a monster o_O. Only accessories.

alright class question on a mage I saw in the trailer them having a staff glowing apparently as you said a +3 or more. Now does a mage having a staff that has +3 or more really effect the dmg? Or is this still gonna be based on the amount of intel you have?

i have learned never to enchant with regular stones and only with blessed and lucky. The cost is a bit higher but the worry isn't so bad

NPCs only sell "BLANK" items. That's to say u only get RAW items. u have to work to get them +x u're self.
But u also get nice drops mostly from KQs. (I got a +5 wepon 3 times in a raw)

It won't affect it DRASTICALLY, but it'll give a boost in intelligence. Lets just say its better than having a raw staff. And enchanting also gives it the glow effects which looks cool xD.
