The great jail timer mystery D;

Right, so, I'm imprisoned in Restricted Area right now. The problem is that the timer keeps going back up. I was told I was getting 7 days (168 hours) but it seems as though I'm gonna be doing a whole lot more if the timer keeps resetting.

Another question is; What does the small number on the far right of my timer mean?

I heard the timer resets when you logout. xD
Just ignore the timer, wait the time you got and then PM a GM to let you out~

Well it was 7 days since I got put in, and my sentence was supposed to be 7 days...I guess I could ask.

Jail = game time, not real time.
Log on and go browse the web or something. Though if it's resetting all the way back to 7 days every time you log off or get disconnected, I'd consider that a bug. PM Fiesta_help.

But I think the GMs know when people are due out so don't fret and if you're not let out soon then alert someone :D

Seems like a dumb way to do things, I don't know of anyone who has a connection that can stay on for 7 days straight. But people always seem to get out eventually, somehow.

from personal experience after i got thrown in jail u cant talk in whisp so in game wont help

What? You can talk in whisper while your in Jail... And it's real time, The timer doesn't do anything it's just there for your amusement. The GMs Decide when you get out, It doesn't just automatically happen.

As an ex-convict myself, I found that at first you can whisper and guild chat and all that stuff while in jail, but if you log out and back you won't be able to anymore. Just makes the jail time that much more boring.

The timer is only a mystery to those who fail at forum searches. It's the countdown to when you can talk, not to when you're out of Jail. If it keeps resetting...maybe the GM's just don't want to hear what you have to say xD
