So tired... anyone have any ideas how to create scales in Photoshop?...

I'm trying to finish a very complicated picture.. I'm on the last half but I'm stuck on shading.. I've ever only drawn a dragon on paper... I have to do these on Photoshop... *yawns* can anyone help me with shading techniques for scales?.. I've never done a dragon digitally before.. -o- ~yawns
