I've looked all around this forum not finding a decent guide to go off of. I've gotten how much stat points will raise something but that's about it. I'm not wanting to be an uber tankers so i ask you...

Does anyone know a good build for this type of character? Like maybe 2:1 spr, str or vice versa.*

Any help would be appreciated

What's a DPS? Anyway, i suggest a 2 str and 1 end build for strength fighters. And maybe sometimes spr around 2 of 2:1 STR:END cycle. You do know that you need a huge axe for hitting hard?

Sorry my lingo followed me from the last game i played. It was meant as damage per second.

i won't really invest points into str. seeing as one point of strengh literaly adds only 1 point of damage. and that bonus point only means 1 more damage. in other words if you hit for 100damage then put on a +5str ring your damage will now be 106. that sounds like a good increase , however after level 30 you'll end up regreting it. +str helps you level at low levels, but don't make much of a differnce at higher levels. if you go full str, assumeing max lvl is 100, you would add +138dmg points of damage

i would also go 2h sword over axe. axe has higher crit rates, but the damage varince is wild, i mean at times i'm hitting for 1h damage and others i get a +400crit at lvl 20. where as with 2h sword it more consent high damage.

personaly i would go 2:1 spr/end for high crits(or 1:1) and some hp. that 2h skill uses a ton of power, and i mean a ton. at lvl 21 my 2h axe warrior with full str was going out of power every 3min in a KQ. you may find it worth it to even decrease the spell consumption of this skill.(i forget the name, 1h is slice and dice tho) and btw more lvl 40 and up warriors switch back to 1h/shield cause of the defense bonus, and most wish they had more end.

for empowerment add
+5 spell duration to stun, 8sec stun rocks hard
+5 power to the 2h skill(i forget the name, but its a blue icon).

The free stat per level is dont affect much, but all I can say is if your gonna use 2H or axe, go for full SPR, more critical rate and more more more.

Alright one last question for you. Is the crit bonus actually worth adding in all those points, or would it be better put into something else. Personally i prefer high crit, i was just wondering if it was worth it in relation to say adding str instead.

I don't think it's that much of a bonus... You have to put more points into it to actually let it work, so it would be better on higher levels.

one other thing about spr and crit rate. for each point of spr it adds 0.2% chance to crit for the first 25 points. so if you have +25spr your chance to crit is 5%. however after 25 points each point of spr only adds 0.1% chance to crit. ie if you have +30spr your chance to crit is 5.5% instead of 6.

also at higher levels, you'll notice that items have +crit rate. like lvl 20 their are +1% crit earing from mara KQ. and KQ weapons offten have higher chances to crit also, instead of 3% it might be 6%.

well if you want pure DPS then str is your main stat, there is no nerf to the boost it gives whereas the crit boost from spr drops after you put 25 points into it.

apparently 2hand styles use alot of SP so spr would probably be your seconary stat as it increases your sp pool and inproves your magdef also

so probably a 2:1 str/spr build, but your hp will suck and you wont be able to tank KQ bosses, probably 1-shot you.

dps= Damage per second,

*i am personally going 1:1 Str and End

i dont think*Spr will do much for us warrior then it whould for a mage or a archer due to the fact how our armor and types of weps make up for it BUT, i am not sure but i also heard that* Spr helps in Magic Restance to, i am not sure please double check

so probably a 2:1 str/spr build,BUT YOUR HP WILL SUCK AND YOU WONT BE ABLE TO TANK KQ BOSSES, PROBABLY 1-SHOT YOU.

The thread title is "2H fighters (non tanking builds)", so yeah.

Anyways silly question, the man is asking for a NONTANKING build for a 2H fighter why do you people keep telling him to add END if he won't be tanking and as a matter of fact he shouldnt be taking hits on the first place?
