*how should i add for cleric... friends told me... cleric 'll be the best class in this game?





and why SPR only up to 25* is enough

Spr up to 25 has to do with the critical rate going down. I went full end with my cleric. but i heard a lot of people went 1:2 STR:END*

for each point of spr it adds 0.2% chance to crit for the first 25 points. so if you have +25spr your chance to crit is 5%. however after 25 points each point of spr only adds 0.1% chance to crit. ie if you have +30spr your chance to crit is 5.5% instead of 6. in other words it just becomes less efftive.

also you shouldn't need spr on a cleric. clerics get a spell called divienty and that increase their max spell pool/mana pool permanently. if you go spr you should do so only for crits. also almost every clerics invest their empower powers into spell cost reudction for heal and bash, meaning you should be fine with out putting any points into spr.

+end means more hp which means more surviality. in a group you need to live, if you die everyone tends to die. if you solo you need hits. if you don't add any end then at lvl 40 you'll have like 400hits and mobs are gonna 2 shot you. also end increase your block rate(and you get a self buff that does and another that increase hits points) and you get a few extra points in defene.

end:str build of 2:1 is fine, however str doesn't add alot of damage. only 1.2 points of damage per str. ie if you hit for 100damage a swing and then add +5str your new swing damage will be 106. kind of a waste

you're saying that 25 spr, and rest end is the best possible build? or just full end is?


*with the 1str/2end builds, wouldn't all the str that gets added on be enough to make the damage between the end cleric, and the 1/2 build significant?


*Also... How long do buffs last? Cause I heard an hour.. But if thats the case, wouldn't you want more to do than just survive and heal people? sounds kinda boring.. A cleric can supposedly kill too in this game.. I wouldn't mind killing too as a cleric if I could..

There are two types of buffs. There are some that you have to be in a party to get the affect of it and you have to be in a certain distance. The other is a permanent buff which can be applied to any player, in party or not. Those usually lasts for about one hour. Though it can change in OB, I can not say.


EDIT: I can easily solo with a Cleric. It's not all about supporting others and being the boring one in a party. Clerics are fun as other classes in my honest opinion. Just got to learn how to play and enjoy the game regardless of class.

i find that adding END into clerics is nearly useless besides the def buff u get from it, on the account that we can heal and use DMG absorbtion anyway. Im STR pure and i nearly do as much dmg as my fighter friend who is the same level as myself.

^^^add what level you are. at low levels pure str works just fine, but at higher levels when mobs start to hit you for over 100, you will want to be full end. or on kq when your healing tanks that don't taunt and you get aggro, you will want to be full end. or just when you solo, cause blocking is so cool and helps sooo much. imo full end is best for groups and soloing, btw i'm a lvl 31 cleric

My current build is 33 STR 25 SPR, and I kill monsters only slightly slower than fighters at my lvl. So, going with END isn't always the case for clerics.
