Second, because you're advertising that you want to be a GM.

People that ask to be GMs are the ones who would abuse their power.

Plus you have to be 18 or older and able to run pages on the internet and able to respond when talked to by another Game Manager

I have had a few Real life friends that were GM's. Most are in their mid 20's or higher in age. Have a even temperment, Are college graduates( computer based degrees). It is a job you apply for like any other job. You don't just simply say " I want to be a GM" and poof you are a GM. It involves long hours of hard( very frustrating at times) work with little* to no thanks for it from the gaming public. You deal with whiney little kids( actual age or* mental age) 95% of the time.

So, to the OP: Are you sure you REALLY want to be a GM? or do you just want the power that comes with it? huge difference.

Well put Trebori. I know that I personally am more interested in the fun that GM's can have, like going into towns and summoning monsters for events and all that, but that is precisely why I realize that I'm not GM material. I know*being a GM is*not just about that one thing. It takes far more than what most people think it takes, as you guys have all outlined.

OK fine keep the topic open for discussion. Trebori did come out with a great point.

All Hail Sir Trebori!
