outspark launcher problems

Do those of us who were included in the closed beta 2, have to redown load the game again?





I keep getting a runtime error, when i click on the launcher. Is there a problem with my outspark files or is there something else going on?

Probably you do need to download again, thats what most people in the forums say.

If we have to download a new client( 95% chance we will) It will NOT be available until Open beta starts( 2 more hours if it isn't delayed again) So, don't waste your time right now. Wait and see what we have to do when OB launches.

^^;;; i all ready uninstalled it, so i guess i'll be waiting until i can redownload it lol/sites/all/modules/tinymce/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-laughing.gif

You*didn't need to do**that. If it will be like from CB1 to CB2. A uninstall was not necessary. The new client prompted you to uninstall the old one and install the new one automatically.

it wasnt doing that i got a run time error and then when i clicked ok it closed the launcher heh oh well no biggie while its down loading i'll go for a walk with my kids and get some exersize ^_~

if you're getting a runtime error then i suspect you have an issue with your client installation,my install still runs fine and i get to the page where you choose server to connect to at which point "you have been disconnected from the server " pops up,but no error of any kind.

Ok, gotcha, but if you download the old client again, you will have to download the new one later anyway most likely. My main point is to simply wait for the new one. It should have all the fixxes in it that the old one didn't.

@BobbySue - I don't think a runtime error has anything to do with the servers; it's a problem on your end. Hopefully it'll be fixed for you with the updated (or new) OB client.

well... i just finished downloading and installing, and this popped up:

C:\Program Files\Outspark\Launcher\outspark.exe

This application has falied to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

I did, yet it still doesnt work. Should i re download it or wait for a newer version to come out?:confused::confused:
