The reason is that they are running a premade script called Drupal, its like wordpress for more stuff, such as this MMO. I highly doubt the game client is stored on this branch of the website, most likely its just in plain space, linked to here, but the site's lagging has nothing to do with the game.

It is lagging because you have 10,000,000 kids on here checking to see if it is working or not. The web server is slowing down due to the traffic the site is receiving at the moment. It is slow for everyone whether they are on dialup or broadband.


Instead of people hitting the website every two seconds, they should just wait. For heavens sake take a break and step away from your PC for a few minutes! Go on now, it wont hurt or kill you.
