wth does the assist icon do?

okay lol i have a 65 mage and i dont know what the assist icon do.

well, you select a player, use the assist button, and whatever monster the may be attacking, you get its target. That's what i've heard and it seems to do from my experience.

Well you asist the nearest player thats attacking a monster. Then you attack it with them. But its sorta Ksing. Isn't it?

Your a lvl 45 mage getting sorta helped lvl by a lvl 60 paladin......

He kills slow so you try to help.......

When ever you attack mobs start attacking you and you keep dieing.......

So you use the assist button and only attack the mobs that the paladin is fighting, this way you stay alive and help kill mobs




P.S the paladin was pulling 20-30 prisoners,tortueres,trees so you couldnt see the mobs he was attacking and the assist button found them for you
