Quiz!:D

Do you think the GM's make the failure of the Xen Stone goes up due to the higher price of the Xen Stone?

My opinion is yes! Why? Because too much Xen Stone i used at higher price and so much failed in a row. But earlier, when the Xen Stone we're at lower price, the Xen Success was a lot more interesting.

Ok, here the rule for this Quiz:No complain about Xen Stone, just opinion and answer the Quiz:D

This is just a Quiz to see if some failed a lot of Xen and some other don't, this is not a complain thread about Xen Stone. Just say yes or no and your opinion with your answer.

^^

My character names:
-CyberClyde: LV 8X Templar(In Stand-By)
-CyberSlayer: LV 6X Squire(Soon Knight)

from +4 or straight from +1/0? ;P

I'm far below the 50% and I figured that I fail my first attemp almost 100%, so now I buy a lot of Xen's when I up something.

My shoes go straight from +1 to +4 all success, but it took 9 xens to get it from +4 to +5. And yesterday, it took me 5 xens (4 failed in a row) to get my helm from +3 to +4. >.>

Failure rate seems high to me....stupid blacksmith.

Actually, that's not bad. Only 13 stones to go from +1 to +5? It took me 14 stones to go from +3 to +4. That doesn't include all the other, numerous, losses in Xen. xD

Even though I somehow got 4 successes in a row yesterday (not sure how that happened...has only ever happened one other time out of the hundreds of xens I've used), I still think we should fire the blacksmith. I figure that I average between 12 and 15 xens to get an item to +4. That's just pure craziness. Who in there right mind would spend 12 million kron on a +4 item? Ok...why is everyone staring at me like that?

I think that the blacksmith is taking money from Alastor to purposefully ruin our equipment! If we don't fire him immediately, he will single handedly bankrupt thousands of citizens, as well as force all of us to use sub-par equips in our battle to save Solstice! We need to act now! Fire him and bring in someone else not taking bribes! Maybe Meshione...at least her clown noses don't fail...

I once walked into the shop with a +4/6ap and 56 xens, and walked out with no xens and a downgraded +3/6ap. i wonder if those boots were cursed. I wasn't very happy!!!!!

other times i've succeeded 4 times in a row. :)
i've had quite a few streaks of 3 successes in a row.

all in all, after many xens i think it ends out about even. i think i've probably succeded a couple more times than failed. it just takes a lot of work and a lot of xens to make a good item.

i don't think the GM's are purposely trying to increase the price or anything. it is the factor of inflation in the market place (as i have described in many threads). buying luxury goods like xen stones is a reward for players that are good with economics, and so gives people something to strive for (there is nothing else to spend money on anyway).

BTW, why do you call this a "Quiz"? you are asking for peoples oppinion on a topic, so you should label it accordingly. A quiz is a factual question where you know the facts about something and are seeing who else knows the correct answer.

Out of curiosity why would they be trying to increase the cost of xen stones? The developers and outspark get nothing from doing so. Maybe you just think they're more because when they fail it's like you are losing 2 compared to a few months ago?
