WAAAAAAAAAAAAAT D= were most certainly not useless at higher levels ;__; Lets see if you like to help around like heal others and buffing then you may like cleric, but clerics are horrible at soloing. Clerics level mostly in parties and aoeing: Which you won't feel so lonely because you'll be in parties, but like I said we are horrible at soloing. Disciples can go solo. They can fight and heal themselves. But they can't buff others like clerics.
Yes they are more disciples than clerics. Simply because you can change disciple at level 45 if you want and for cleric you change until level 66. I don't think disciples have anything bad....just the lonely part when soloing. That's all I can think about for now sorry >.<

Well, I definatly wouldn't say clerics/priests are useless. Having them means you can go easier on the potions/you can AoE 1 map further. They are on the contrary of what you've been told. Almost makes you want to make them your... pet XD As for Healer vs Disc/Temp, you already know the pros and cons as you said of each, so just pick one that suits your style. If anything, both will require some hard work and effort.
As for you dj78x, just message me in game @ "Angel Hikaru" no quotes. I'll be glad to AOE you at Eir long as you keep up the good work so far ^^

Well, I turn cleric tonight so guess which way I went. lol. Here's the way I see it.
Aco/Cleric -- after 40 you have to party to level. Of course you shouldn't have much trouble finding a party, especially once you can go to Eir. If you stick with it until you have bless 3 you will be the most popular kid on the block. You will probably end up specializing, a lot of acos do by choice or circumstance. Personally I like normal parties and duos, but I aoe a lot because that's what people want to do. I know a couple of acos that like to support scouts/archers. You go and do a good job for some people and they will start looking for you when they want help. Also network with other cleric/aco's. Smart partiers and aoers want duo acos, because they can heal each other and keep them healed and buffed and many would rather have a lower level for the second but once they know you, even when you level up they'll keep you around if you pull your weight. Plus duo acos on a balanced party gives 20% on top of the 10% boost. Also I know of clerics or acos who work a particular map or set of maps, like the ice maps or chant.
Disciples, once you change, people who are used to you being an aco aren't going to know what to do with you. You're not a knight, but not a aco, so what to do. Fortunately you can solo, but I would recommend fnding an aco and duoing. This has worked well for me, and the disciple makes a great body guard on aoe parties, especially once he or she gets burning hands. This will eventually get you into some parties helping keep the aco alive. Eventually you can aoe and your in the drivers seat, so be like Angel H and help the acos level. lol.
The higher I get the more fun I am having with the aco/cleric. It did get a little tedious, with nothing but illusion quake and spirit to try to survive those aoeing parties, but once you get oblivion it seems to get better. You can start finding better armor around at the higher levels too. Either way you go you will have a ball.

Another thing, the path doesn't set in stone until level 66, so if at level 55 or 60 you decide you can't stand people begging you for buffs, you can still make the switch.
