A question regarding End on free stats

Not sure where should I post this thread actually, but I think Gameplay section is the best.

As we know, adding +End on free stats will increase Hp, Phy Def and Block rate (if I'm right). Question is, does Block rate has effect on non-user shield char aka 2h Fighter, Archer and Mage? Do they really have % to block enemies attack? Thanx in advanced!:)

I thought Block Rate only works when you wear a shield, but I never tested it myself. Without a shield you can only evade with the evasion stat.

I've fought fighters who used 2H axes and swords and they stilled had BLOCK above them once in a while. But I think that could also be a result of the activated skill which raises Block rate.

You have to have a shield to block. Period.
