My experience with scouts has been primarily as just another party member. I did duo with a couple at lower levels, but recently tried to aeo with one and we made a bad job of it. There were several problems. The first map we did fine. He wanted to go up a map. He was taking 5 damage with my bless. I thought this was too much unless he wanted to do small mobs. He didn't. We had a second scout and an app as backup. They weren't protecting me. So basically his health was dropping fast, I was having to buff and heal him, heal me, spirit mobs, run, and the entire time, my roommate, who wasn't in a party, had abandoned her computer to scream "Your all going to die" repeatedly in my ear. We did. Then he got mad because I didn't revive him. Hello, Cleric or no, revive don't work when I'm dead too. Then the server went down.
My aoeing experience has been primarily with Knights and Rogues. The scout seemed to run faster and take more damage. Any tips, ideas or suggestions? I think he just tried to take a map he needed better armor or be a higher level to take, but maybe there was something (other than gagging roommate) I could have done differently too.
