It seems quite a few people were having the same problem I was. I think I have figured out how to get around the problem.

Problem:

Downloading newest release. First I Run the installer.. then it begins to download 1.2.60b.exe .. speed started at 300k/s but then constantly dropped. After about 10 minutes I would get an error that says my network connection failed (even though my connection was fine) .. i would hit retry.. and the download would pretty much be frozen. Tried multiple times.. no luck :(

Solution:

I made 2 changes... I was using IE, and switched to Firefox. I don't think that made a difference though since the installer is its own app. the other change - DO not "Run" the installer directly. Actually download the file to your harddrive and THEN run the .exe locally. I'm now downloading at 660k/s at a nice steady rate. Will be done in 8 minutes!

See you out there!

Well I've had to resort to using a download manager as I was constantly dropped and I saved the installer to my hard drive to start.

Even downloading the full file from* http://cdn2.outspark.com/OutsparkFiesta.1.2.60b.exe ("http://cdn2.outspark.com/OutsparkFiesta.1.2.60b.exe")

I'd still get dropped with the server dropping the connection. After 4 attempts with their installer and 3 with using the direct link, I finally pasted it into a download manager. It keeps stopping but the resume feature at least lets me start where it left off instead of from the beginning yet again.

Use a download manager, that way you have resume* for when it stops.

Using one I'm now at 81%, which is the highest I've gotten. Only made it to 75% or so using the installer and maybe 30% through IE itself
