Fetching pets?

So, I've noticed pets "fetching" items for their owners after a Mayo pops.... how would I be able to do the same with my pet?

Buy slime beans from the SC and feed them to your pets

I just looked up the Slime Beans.... it says:

"On the Solstice, Look for the equinox of flowers bloom. Where opinions are heard, General. Find the code, and see the key:Story of Xen will show you the way."

I'm sorry, but what the heck does that mean?????

That was for the Amazing Adventure (Saving Adeline Event) that is long over. It was part of the clue. But yea it doesn't mean much now.

(Yea I'm deliberately avoiding explaining the whole thing because it is too cumbersome to do so)

Yes.

If those items are from the monster you kill, killed by the same person in your party, or those mayo drops.
