int increases how much u heal and how hard u hit the monster .
i would put my points into full into intil u turn cleric and then add men and more wis maybe ^^;

Full INT ftw~~ x3 But you could put your stats into other stats. Don't forget to add POW every 10 lvls.

Dont forget to check what the POW requirements are for certain weapons. The level 32 Cane of Holy Spirit requires 4 POW points, I believe.
