Hi. I just started playing Archer, I like it a lot, but... I can't really use Aimed Shot while I'm moving, as stated in the stickied Archer thread/bible/thingy. Um, will this skill become usable while I'm moving, like, at level 2 or something? Or do I need to empower it a certain way? I'm a little confused, but I just got Poison Shot which is really awesome to use while I'm running. Can someone be a little more specific about which skills are usable when moving? Tyvm, and sorry if I got my info wrong...

Uh...you can't use Aimed Shot while moving.

Let me go check with MissusDolly...it must have been a mistake. She's human, after all. =)

Oh ok :( well that stinks, since I've been putting all of my skill points into it. Which ones can be used while moving?

As of now, Poison Shot, Fury Impact, Diseased Shot, and Natures Mist (lvl 51 AoE poison) can be cast while moving, as well as Natures Protection.

On a side note, empowering Aimed Shot isn't that bad, that is, what did you empower? (cooldown, damage increase, sp consumption, etc)

What skill points did you put in? Aimed Shot (from my personal experience) is the skill that I have empowered the most, so a few skill points won't hurt.

Skills that can used while moving:
~Fury Impact (the green poison)
~Bone Shot (the plain poison)
~Venomous Shot (I'm not 100% sure, but it says so in the guide)
~Nature's Mist (level 51 AoE)
~Piercing Shot (level 75 AoE) (once again, I am not 100% sure)

I think Nature's Protection works as well. As for the rest, I have no idea...>.<

Edit: Killbringer, is Dieseased the same as Venomous?

I've just finished empowering Aimed Shot cooldown. I have no interest in empowering anything for reduced SP cost. What should I start empowering next? Aimed Shot power? Or start empowering Power Shot or one of my DoT skills?

power & aimed shot can't be used while moving, only the skills with dots ^^ very useful in kiting.... hit & run yay :D

Once again, this is personal opinion.

Stick with having the cooldown on Aimed Shot. If you put a few extra points into it, you can go:

Aimed>Poison 1>Poison 2>Power>Aimed

for your first 40 levels or so. The benefit of this is that there will be either a small or nonexistent gap between Power Shot and Aimed Shot, and will be effective when you want to get rid of a mob, and fast. I suggest that you leave your DoT skills to be, and empower Power Shot (for increased damage) for now.

I'm a little confused. I only put 5 points into Aimed Shot's cooldown, and that's all. No points have been put anywhere else; I wanted to get help here first. I don't really get what you're suggesting that I do next?

Sorry if I didn't make it clear enough. >.<

You could also empower Aimed Shot for additional damage as well, if you please. After all, it works well for myself. =)

Edit: Yay! Enishi understands the workings of my mind! And she's right about saving points for AoE skills.

Oh. I thought the "Aimed>>Poison 1>>Poison 2>>Power>>Aimed" was supposed to be the order in which to empower my skills, thus my confusion. But you're talking about actually using them in battle. I feel silly :) Anyway, I'll go ahead and keep working on Aimed, then Power shot, then. Thanks.

P.S. So I shouldn't empower the two Poison shots? Bone Shot & The Impact one? Sorry, just want to make sure >_<;

Oops, sorry...>.>

I suggest don't empower your DoTs, but I'm not going to gun you down if you do (and I don't own a gun anyway). They're not bad skills, it's just that AoEing is used a lot more as you level up, and it takes a lot longer to level up once you're higher-leveled. =)

Sorry for the mistake. Everything has been fixed. ^^ It seems that I placed the thing under the wrong skill. ;D I've also updated the nature's protection and the lvl 75 skill can be used whilst running.

the only skills you can use while moving are instant casts such as Dots. Aimed shot and Power shot are not instant cast. Notice the bar that fills up when you cast it. It would be great if they did make aimed shot an instant cast because that would increase its usefulness even more. Once aimed shot is max cd either go full power or stop empowering it for now and focus on others skills. In my opinion power shot needs empowerment attention more so then aimed shot. The cast time on power shot is horrible and it will need extra power in order for it to be worth the while to cast. So max power first then max cd. Once power shot is fulling enhanced (its your big gun) then you can refocus on aimed shot or the other skills you wish to empower.
