Q about Pets

Not sure if this has been answered before.
1. What does the pets do? (besides being cute) Do they give you extra benefits?
2. Is there a difference between the poyos (lvl 25) and the other kind(lvl 35) besides the appearance?

1. As of now nothing. You can buy slime beans in the cashshop to have your pet pick up items.

2. Right now the only difference is that the level 35 pets look cooler and take a lot more time and/or money to have. In the future the level 35 are supposed to "assist" you in battle by adding extra stats. Also we will have Pet fusion to upgrade your pets to give you more stats from them.
