Hi,

I was wondering if someone with experience in enhancing can give me an idea of how many perfect red eyes and perfect blue eyes on average you would require to get a level 50 axe (Item level 2) for 0 to +9?

I realize it's going to vary, but just wanted an idea from an enhancer.

Cheers

I don't actually do enhancing, but several people have given me varying answers. One said 6 stacks for his weapon, of which the last 4 were spent on +8-9. Then there's the person who told me $7-10 total, for 3-4 stacks of each, depending on luck.

All this is in relation to level 50 weapon enhancing, and I still haven't gotten my weapon enhanced yet. Might not be worth it for me, I don't know.

That would be insanely expensive. From my calculations 6 stacks of both red and blue would cost $29.78, or take your best case senario of 3 stacks of each, which would be $14.90.

So we're looking from anywhere between $14.90 to $29.78. :(

Yeah, if I recall it was usually around $25 (on average) for a lvl50 t2 item to be +9'd (and you wonder why enhancers were charging so much?).

The majority of your blue/reds will be used getting it from 7-9 (mostly 8-9). I've gotten all the way to 8 without failing once (but then spent about 2 stacks getting it to 9).

Obviously it can be cheaper, but I always expect to be around 20-25 per item.

I actually think they should be charging more if it's costing $25 to get an item to +9. That's got to be worth at least 3g. I see people asking for +9 enhancements and stating they don't wanna pay more than 1g.

Any enhancers out there wanna enhance my lvl 50 axe for 1 g ;) But seriously I will pay 3g if a legit enhancer wants to enhance it for me.

It's insanely hard to find any enhancer at all. Added to that you're wanting a t2 item enhanced, and most of the demand is for t3 enhancing. Hence, if you're actually searching for a t2 enhancer...all I can say is, good luck to you.

What's the difference if I'm willing to pay an enhancer the same he would get for a T3 enhancement?

The key is to save your money. I used 20 red eyes 10 blue miles for enhancing llv.40 axe. Then I sold it and bought lvl.50 +7, then I use only 20 red eyes, 20blue miles to get it to +9. Now I've decided to just farm and grind till I get enough money so I can BUY lvl.60 axe+9 :) I heard there's a rumour that more you break weapons the more possiblity you'll succeed enhancing.......Not comfirmed though.

I haven't enhanced anything that high yet, but enhancing a Lvl 20 T1 item took me about 20 Red & Blue. It can vary depending on if you get lucky and the enhamcements take well, and generally I haven't really needed to use the red/Blue on enhancing anything to +3, since they generally don't break at this level, and I don't care if I need to use more Elrue (T1) as I make them with my primary character. After getting to +3 I really don't want to risk breakage of my item, so I am willing to spend a bit more to see that it does get upgraded. I am more worried about breakage than I am about losing a level of enhancement, and it is more a case of not wanting to spend the extra time to enhance.

I have got 2 stack of T2 eye in Remi's rare find and decide to experiment. I try to enhance just red eye alone and from what I calculate I spend much more than I use the two of them together. Red eye is more expensive than blue miles so I will suggest you use a pair instead of just Red eye alone, it won't save you money.

Yeah there's no way im gonna waste 20$ to get my weapon to +9 AND use a lot of game money for elrues/lix/xirs which in total would be about 100+s for each +9 weapon an 20$ sorry, I am not a sucker..
