I agree, it does work.. but what i also have noticed is that Xen stones are dropped on a specific time.. alot like YWM's. I've gotten 10 Xen stones so far while grinding in a whole week, non-stop. Hunting maps for 66 - 75 like skitchy or so, they seem to have at least 1 Xen stone in 1 monster out of the whole map.. on a night i got 3 stones every 3 hours i dont think it was luck because im sure that when everyone started aoeing they have found alot of xen stones, or am i wrong ?

There is a theory where you can found Xen Stone if you kill All non hard-hitters monsters in 1 maps at the same time, hence why AoE tends to got Xen Stone more often.

I said no, i just started playing about 10days ago and im 41 with no Xen. So obviously i have tried it.

That's a nice theaory, and it's great if it works for you.

unfortunatly it did not work when i made my scout, it also takes quite a few mobs to kill to get to lvl 30, maybe that required number of mobs to get to lvl 30 is enough to give you thew chances of getting a xen.

maybe you just got lucky, xens are a set probability drop rate, the more mobs you kill the more chance you have of getting a xen.

my trick is to kill as many mobs as possible. doing AOe increases your chances, as you are killing more mobs, maybe after 10,000 mobs you might get a xen.

I'm now lvl 69 mage and I haven't got a single xen with my char o.O I made farmer neophyte and got lucky almost stright away.

well it is easier to find xens in lower lvs i mean i keep a neo at lv 28 and i grind for her fora bit find ill always find xen once a day in guron map opposed to lv 90 mage who finds one um like nvr xD

actually xen stones is a flat drop rate for all mobs. so the more mobs you kill tyhe better your chances are. yes you get xens in the low levels killing lots of easy mobs. you also get a lot more from doing AOE, killing 50+ mobs every 5min. though to AOE well you need good equipment(eg 40 xens) so your need for xens goes through the roof.

Well, it's an interesting concept. My problem is I burn 10 ~ 30 at a time, sometimes more than once a day. Grinding to lvl30 for 1 Xen takes a bit of time (not a lot but too much to make it unfeasable.)

hate to rain on your parade, but I didn't have a xen drop until I was lvl 32...
Unless your trick is limited to soloers, and not parties (cuz I am an aco). My theory is that you kill alot faster at lower levels, and so the increased killing rate makes it slightly more likely to get a xen than at later levels.

I can see why you came up with your theory, but my neo didn't get a xen stone until lvl 3X (I soloed most of the time) and my aco has yet to get one... although I party more with my aco.

xD well i just noticed this on accident i made the neo for firewood farm to pull gurons as it hard to make money on mage.....and everytime i would get bored and go farm i can pretty much expect a xen from red and white mobs on anything below lv 45 i unno but i can grind all day for days on mage and nvr find one. and yea my mage did at once pull same lv mobs xD.still even in aoe past lv 70 xens are ubber tricky still xens would drop more from the alphas that my lower lv side killers killed than when i killed by aoe.

bob this thread is useless man. I mean yeah, go kill stuff. Thats what the game is about. Stop trying to predict HOW to farm xens when theres no way, just a flat drop rate.
