I've just signed in to start playing my old chars from previous beta(it was nice to see them again). I was so geared up to get back into the fun. I'm not in the game 10 seconds and*I actually see someone named LaLaLaLoopy advertising a site for free money and gems. *sigh* At first I thought someone had to be fooling around but then he kept advertising.


First of all, anyone that doesn't know...this is a scam. Don't fall for it. Second, I certainly hope Fiesta does something quick to put a stop to it. Anyone advertising a site of any kind should be automatically banned. The biggest deterent to these scammers is to not go to the site in the first place.


Ah, it seems Loopy has disappeared after I sent a whisper. Now it's Galahalt advertising. I took a screen shot if anyone in charge of handling this problem wants to see it.

Best thing you can do (and everyone should do), is to report the scammers !

I can promise the GMs and Devs will crack down on them the moment they get reported. Be ready for that to increase though since this is Open Beta.

Seriously though,as long as people are willing to SS/report them,they'll get the idea to not bother in future. Persistence is the key; you may never clean them out completely but you can stop them from overflowing our cities.

thats the biggest downer for most games take it for WoW most horrible game for scammers... every 5 seconds

All we can do is to continue to flag these messages each time we see them.


I would hate to see Fiesta ruined by hackers as so many of the other MMORPGs have been.
