Using +9 Weapons...

I'm currently undecided on whether or not I want a GODLY +9 weapon or simply one that is +9 but stats are poor. Is it that important to have STR or INT on a sword/staff or is the massive increase from the +9 overshadow anything else and the stats are just icing on the cake?

Humbug,better use godly weaps but the stats make a huge diff on price :D

GODLY will make ur wep stronger by alot but get rdy to add a couple extra gold onto the price if u buy it. But if u enhance godly by urself u can also sell it for alot more

If you compare a weapon with no STR, to a weapon with 20 STR, yes the difference is pretty big. But, if you compare a weapon with maybe 10-13 STR to a weapon with 20 STR, the difference actually isn't as significant.

That's why, me personally, I always settle with semi-godly or just single-stat godly weapons. So things that are, "decent". They get the job done, and if you make it +9 it will perform nearly as well as a godly weapon +9. I think where you might see a bigger difference is in the higher levels. For example, 30+ str vs. 10-13. But lower level gear doesn't get those kind of stats.

Now, if you have END and DEX on the same weapon, of course that makes it extremely nice. You get damage, hp, def, evasion, accuracy from one weapon. But in the damage department, not terribly important to have godly stats if the weapon is +9.

Yeah.... although good stats weapons is more expensive but it can fetch higher prices if u +9 them.Example:sold my lvl50 +9 Axe wif Str+21 End+23 Dex+15 for 3.5g :P

godly +9 are more popular, and resale would be easier too

Well, you always want good stats if you can get them... it's not so much the STR/INT that make a difference, but the added bonuses of END, DEX, or whatever. Stats do help, but high stats always command high prices because they're in demand. You can often get a low stat item (even a +9) relatively cheap, so it depends on how much you want to spend.

However, if given the choice between a low stat +9 item and a godly unenhanced item (or heck, even a +8 item) go with the +9 every time. The damage difference from even +8 to +9 is over 200 points for some level 70 weapons - compared with 35 points for a max amount of STR/INT on that same weapon.

stats do make a difference but at the same time they alter the price. i would suggest you either get a +9 with good stats or an npc +9 because if it has crappy stats, why would you wann pay for them? i mean all my armor is green as well as my weapon. altogether i have at least 350 extra health from my armors.

normal + 9 wep also can be sold high, but not as high as godly high wep
godly wep really can fetch good price
sold my GGK staff with average stat for 300s (no enhance)
see how good price is these item?
and a +6 lvl 40 sword i sold for 688s, with some good stat. lol

Also remember, green items are bound to have other bonuses latched onto them other than just +stats. Some have higher crit %, others have increased damage (most notably boss versions [km/zk/ggk/tk/goc/gh]), and things like that.

Generally, go for boss weapons (granted the price is hella higher) because they are the best of the best - especially with great stats added on. But hey, an NPC +9 is fine too, just the higher level you are, the more you wanna swing to the statted side.

I prefer not to use Godly for so many reasons, cause nothing can be like god..anyway!

a +9 wepon is good but a wepon with extra stats like END, STR, INT, DEX is even betetr..
I for one never enhance a wepon or Item if the stats aint good enough, for example;;

Lightning Roumen Sword:

END+25
STR+12
DEX+20
DMG: 30 ~ 60
Critical :7%

Sun Roumen Sword:

STR+7
END+27
DEX+3
DMG: 40 ~ 108
Critical :2%

which would you try to enhace here?
I look for a good wepon mybespend some silver on em and enhance it, that way you getr a good enhanced wepon powered up to the 9th level, and with alittle smelting on the side we get a +10 wepon..lol!
