Confused on enhancing...

Okay..so i go to the Smith and try to refine my item..i theink the problem is..i have sets of 10 and 9 elrues..how do i break it down so i just stick one in..

Hold shift then left click on the stacked item, put the number of item you want to seperate then click on an empty spot in your inventory.

I went to the help button and under "items" it told me but thanks anyway! IT took me a while to think looking there..and I would've posted saying I found it klast night but it was late. Thanks though =]
