i want to build a high damage archer...

Im pure STR and i love it :p

i use +9 weapons and STR/DEX or STR/END equipment.

Str and wait till you go hawk archer and use xbows...
Xbows do over twice the damage of the same lvl bow.(they slower but who cares, they own the monsters!)

Okie well first off Xbows dont do twice the dmg of bows.. They have a about a 30% increase in damage over a minute which slowly wears off and over a long period of time with JUST normal attacks the bow will out damage.
Although YES, it is the best for full damage because of the damage it adds onto skills.

As to this, I recommend instead of str/dex or str/end because STR equips do near to nothing for archers End/Dex for 3 reasons
1. Without Dex equips and full STR build, you're going to miss pvp build archers or have low hit rates on other mobs later
2. Without End/Dex together your overall health may be lower
3. A archer that cant hit often.. Isnt really an archer...

Although they both have the general idea correct; If you cannot get SC items then i suggest 25 SPR for a 5% critical then rest STR. Try to find end/dex equips and Yes, if you spam skills then use the xbow for more damage.

as far as PvP i have only had 1 fighter my level kill me Ichigo something...
and i pwnt an archer the same level as me yesterday :D. i have no SC items, just +9 wep. at the time i fought ichigo i had no +9 he did.

Archers have natural Dex. if not they always make scrolls to help that problem out :p and those dex builds.... when i do hit them it hurts like hell :p

Highest damage is technically Pure STR. But 25 SPR rest STR has chances of outdamaging it ^^

pure STR build + Xbow +9 + END/STR or END/DEX gears = NUKE ARCHER:D

;) fear my STR :cool:

STR equips add to your damage thus meaning hitting harder. may only be a few points, but your still hitting harder.
