Well, first you have to find a nice guy or gal, get to know each other, date for a few months to a year and then, when you’re ready… oh, in the game. Okay, I see.

Getting married in the game is, right now, very easy. You and your betrothed can either submit an application to the GMs via private message to fiesta_help and wait… a long time… or you can have a friend perform the ceremony for you in the game. Since the official application has not been activated in the game yet there is no automatic protocol for marriage. It is coming, however…. Along with the divorce lawyers, for sure.

So as it stands you /can/ get married in the game by having someone (anyone) perform the ceremony (I wonder if they’ll change it so only clerics can act as priest… that would make sense) but there are no actual benefits from marriage at this point.

But yea, the wedding feature is coming pretty soon and I mean soon, not far away so in the meantime, start befriending someone from the opposite sex, hang out for a few days, and then go to OX Field and buck up the courage to ask them if they would like to be with you for eternity in the beautiful land of Isya. If you get a fortunate answer, then congrats! Spread the word out and be ready to use the wedding feature when it comes. :)

Ok. Well, when do you guys think that this application will be available because they already have a guide to weddings and i find myself rather disappointed. I got all excited and went to the lady and nothing. No ring, no nothing. It was sad. Also, they said as of 3rd of July 2008 marriage was possible. What happened. Thanks. ~DJ~

Hopefully sometime in August it will be available. Just keep an eye out on the News and Announcements section for any word about it and other updates.

When Outspark decides to release a finalized date, that's when we'll all know.
