Alright, I just came into Elderine for a party quest together, and rigth before I was in forest of mist, and I equipped my horse while still in teh transport screen.
I found myself with and blue screen and when I came to, everything was higher up, though everyone else said, I looked normal, except for teh very begining where it looked like I was on top of the scarecrow.

I'm still stuck there, and I'm gonna try to go through a door at my level.
Edit: I was able to leave through my Roumen Scroll.
