pet help?

hey guys just started playing yesterday, im at 15 now woot woot, so today in kq slime i felt like running around and picking up everyone's drops. lots of elrues and lixes. but i picked up two pets, a slime and a green one. how do pets work? can i keep them? do i have to feed them? plz help =]

Pets give you bonus stats towards your character's overall stats. From what I know, you can only have 1 pet at a time and no, feeding is not required. You see those black squares surrounding your character in your inventory panel? Put the pet icon into one of the bottom squares. From what I know, you are able to keep pets permanently. :)
