Okay, I've been looking through the Fiesta Forums trying to dig up some stuff about this new gambling game, seeing as half my friends are complaining that they're broke from Remi's Rare Find.
LOL Outspark, Ingenius way of making profit. So evil.
I guess some people are lucky enough to get a Pegasus/Scarab or a permanent item within the first few tries but some people are reaaaaaally unlucky.
Okay, my point being Outspark is EEEEVIL! EVIL, EVIL, EVIL!
Now now.. Please don't ban me ^o^

lol good one kalone XD
I dunno. I'm not much of a gambler and I don't have much money, so I don't really see myself playing this a lot (if at all). I think it's really only a game people who waste their spark cash on will play. >< sure, you might get lucky, but you might get a sucker so why bother? Its not worth getting something stinky and paying 1500 points, only to turn it in and get 1 credit of 5 for another try.

But I'm not going to gamble my real money if I can simply buy other things and be guaranteed to get them -_-

Well my mate, Imnoir, made a really interesting comment about this thing; a lot of people (not all just a lot) are kids that get their sparkcash from their parents.. say as an allowance right? Well with them burning ti out on the raffle thing they can't buy anything and then since its allowance or their parents have a fix limit on what they give... The kids can't buy their usual things to make the game easier/fun, what ever, and they loose interest and quit. Then outspark looses money since the child no longer is playing and spending....
Yes this is not going to be a major thing, it will only be a small percentage, the point is it might spike their profit for a short while but Outspark will probably notice a decline soon too.
Also they are quite cunning, making you wases so much money for only a chance at wining items that you could actually buy for less....honestly its sad people fall for it but like they say "you can always make a profit off the stupidity of others"

:/ I havent done it, and refuse to
My friend did it a few times
he got a 1 week dragon. Seeing as how a 4 week one is 4k sc, thats a bit expensive.
Second try he got some gold miles, but now he has to buy the other eyes for them to be of any use..
A decent thing on the third try: a 1 month 130% exp bonus card
And i htink the last thing was like.. something dumb because i dont remember it.
Point being.. he was basically gyped, gyped, good deal, and gyped.

I thought gold miles made it a 100% success rate?

the gold miles at a 15% increase in success rate.
but i think that outspark will make enhancement so hard that you have to buy the gold mile to win. they have been going it more and more. they make the miles cheaper and make the enhancement harder.
it going to be the same with this remi's rare find. we are getting some nice things now but later outpark will increase the difficulty for getting those nice items.
they just want people to get like this game and want to play it more.

<----stopped buying Sparkcash all together because the Cash shop is getting way more updates than the game. I mean why pay for an incomplete game. This is actually the only beta game i know of that has a cash shop.

BUY SPARK CASH AND PLAY OUR NEW GAMBLING THIN!?!
*im making this post on my entire free will and theres is not a swat team from outspark destroying my house while making me posting*
xDDDD
ok really I dont know why do you guys complain??
is YOUR CHOICE whetever you want to buy spark cash or not I have always thought of this kind of threads silly because some of the players that complain keeps buying it as far as I know I can enjoy the game without the sparkcash things

Cash shop has been getting a bit too much attention lately. I agree with Gravvi on that one.

Well, I don't mind seeing cash shop updates, I just think they should increase the cap before adding more items. There was a thread a while ago (one made by myself, another from someone else) basically explaining how they are getting tons of money by keeping these caps in place. The longer they keep the caps, the more money they squeeze out of us. So, knowing that, it sort of looks bad every time they push the cap away and throw up more CS items. However, that aside...
is YOUR CHOICE whetever you want to buy spark cash or not I have always thought of this kind of threads silly because some of the players that complain keeps buying it as far as I know I can enjoy the game without the sparkcash thingsIt's not about buying Sparkcash or not. I myself haven't bought any sparkcash, and I don't plan to spend any money on this new event. This thread is about the new game, so I find whether we purchase sparkcash or not a bit irrelevant. If we think the game flawed we certainly express that opinion. If you can enjoy the game without sparkcash, no offense but, good for you.

It has been explained again and again that the only reason the cash shop is updated more then the game is that they are entirely two 'separate' things. The cash shop is controlled and run by Outspark, the game is controlled and updated by a Korean company called Ons On Soft. Since Outspark has no control over the game and it's updates, there is nothing they can do about the time period for game updates. They simply license the game, which I might add is why there are 'many' version of it licensed for different audiences all over the world (which shouldn't surprise anyone living in germany right now considering the recent IP block). This is also why the cash shop is updated more often. It IS in Outsparks control, and as such they are able to bring us new updates for it much more often, which is benificial to us as much as it is to them (if you use spark cash that is).
As far as the gambling etc. it is up to you how you spend your money, and it is up to Outspark how they earn theirs. Nobody is forcing it upon you, and you have no business determining how Outspark does it's business except as a consumer, and as a consumer it is your right to decide whether it is worth the money or not. I live in a state that makes a large majority of it's funds from lottery, and it doesn't seem to bother the state or the people who buy the tickets one bit.
And as far as the quality of the game, I do not play it, so I have no idea. But I don't understand how getting an item that costs 4k spark cash for a 1500 try to be a gype as was stated earlier. But that is just my opinion.

I'm a little bit reluctant in trying out this Remi thing coz i know if i dont get wat i want first go, i'm gonna try once more.. and once more... and once more.... and someone will need to send me to gambling rehab before i could stop :p
but... i personally dont think that getting a Scarab is "lucky enough" XD I'd call that a bad luck round :D but that's just my personally opinion...

So then who makes the cash sets, items, upgrade probabilities? And if the game already exists in Korea for example, and has the cap increase, then what's the hold up? Translation issues? On a level cap increase? The game is translated for the English audience not only as far as language, but as far as OS. They don't use English OS. This is a game from the beginning not a direct translation of the full game. Secondly, there is no way of knowing what pitfalls or problems they run into while doing this. If you hadn't noticed there have been many bug issues in upgrading and providing new content to us, which then must then be fixed. It is not like it's a a matter of just raising the level cap. They must balance new content, fixes, and other concerns when providing us with updates. And also, if they raise the level cap but provide no new weapons, armor or content for those higher levels, then people will be upset when they get to the higher level but get nothing new for their efforts.
But ultimately, we can't know those answers fully, because we have no control over them. Your asking the wrong people. Outspark has no clue about such things since it is not part of their job. It is all Ons On Soft's job, and they don't have to tell anyone else anything. They own the game, they make the rules. Outspark just sells it for them to the US market. Just like when you buy a game at WalMart. You can't go to the store and ask them why there are not more levels and expect them to know why.

Well they certainly have no issues changing for the OS and language on cash items...And, just for argument's sake...Lets say the cash items are done already, and are just stored in a buffer so they can balance release/creation times...They should also do this for content if it is not already.
I do see your point though, adding true game content is a little more tricky than adding models and defining them.
hesqua

and the developers doesnt update just our version.. they have like 5-6 versions of the game, at different regions...
we play the game... find bugs, report it to Outspark, outspark compiles it, send it to devs, wait for devs to fix it, send patch back... apply patch.. find more bugs.... cycle starts again
the entire process can take a month.. if u give a week between every step...
and that's just bug fixing... new level cap, new armour, new weapon, new mobs, new gates, new quest, new maps, new skills.... RAWR.... i'm sure i've missed plenty more things they need to consider before applying a big patch...
its not just "raise the cap and play"

My only reply is to say that there is only so much info, and I have no way of answering it based on what has been released to the public. I would guess that they have had a lot of the cash shop data much earlier then it is released, but simply chooses to release a small amount at a time. All the info for the cash shop is probably all here in America except for a few requests made from time to time from Outspark for new functionality or bug fixes.
As stated in an above post, it is likely much harder to release data for so many different builds of the game for different countries. Then the cycle of data collection , bug reporting, fix time, update release,...over and over again. That is likely the cause for such intermittent content release.
