I just started playing yesterday, but so far I'm really hooked.* After trying about a dozen games in the past month, this one appeals to me a lot.

*So anyway, I decided I would try for the long haul.* Stick to one character, build up and try to see everything the game has to offer in the highest levels.

*But first, for now, I need to make sure I don't screw up this character.* So, I've avoided taking any production skills until I was certain which ones I wanted.* I could really use some advice.

My character is an archer, Str/Spr (may end up focusing on End gear or adding End later).* I don't plan to play alts anymore than necessary (if at all).* I'd like to get the most bang out of the production skills as I can in the uppermost levels.* Advantage in the lower levels can be sacrificed for that.* My hunch is that all of the trade skills have use, but I figure certain ones (potions for example) could easily be worked around with my character and build - to one extent or another.* So I'm leaning towards Stone Production, Scroll Production, and Material Composition.* But those are wild guesses, since I have no idea what the later levels are like.

*Those of you who played CB, do you have any advice?

*I'd also welcome advice about skills.* So far, I've 'opened' up the first two active skills but I haven't allocated any further skill points.* I figure those skills will probably be outclassed by later skills where my skill points are better off being spent.

The big money makers are usually Stone and Scroll production.* Although you wont make alot of money right now since everyone's still poor, but later on you might. But I would suggest those two because not only can you make profit from them, but you can save yourself money too. Material composition is usually only good for when you need materials to make like scrolls and stuff. Besides in order to Compose something you need these stones called alchemy stones which you have to buy with FAME pts. Fame pts are usually only obtainable by doing quest. Umm..dont worry about empowering skill points onto your active skills. Once you get the stronger verson of your skill the skill points stay on, they dont change. I was an archer in CB, and they seemed to only have 4 active skills till you're like lvl 35+
