Hello everyone!
Recently, VanGuards had a very successful recruiting week, where we revitalised the junior Guild with 100% active members. Now it is the turn of the senior 60+ Guild Holy_VanGuards, the big brothers and sisters of VanGuards to get the same treatment.
We are one of the oldest Guilds on Teva, number 87 on a list of almost 1500! Originally formed by slasher_x, he quit a few months back with many other original members and I took over Mastery of a sadly depleted Guild. Over the last few months we've added new members and the family of Holy_VanGuards is growing bigger once more.
However, we still have spots available, and I and other HV Admins will be doing our best to fill them this week with 60+ members (level 30-59 go to the junior Guild) of ANY class ^^.
We understand that at 60+ choice of Guild is not a decision taken lightly by many. Therefore, let me try to convince you why HV is made of awesome ^^.
1. We pride ourselves on being honourable and playing fair. We will sort situations (providing proof i.e. screenies are available) of members acting dishonest, ksing, and in general tainting the name of the Guild.
2. We hold unique Guild Events, examples of which can be seen on the big spammed thread called "Holy_VanGuards/VanGuards Recruiting Now!" Recently, we held a quiz, previous events include "Isya Scavenger Hunt" and "Extreme Escort the Messenger" (which will be making a return in a revised format for the next HV event ^^. It's going to be fun... it's going to be SLAUGHTER!)
3. We have a Ventrilo which can be used by all members. Here you can get to know fellow VanGuards, laugh at my English accent, and in general be all social and funtastic xD.

4. We have a website! Unfortunately the forums are down right now, but normally it can be found at www.dragongates.net/vanguards (for Firefox users only), or straight to the forums at www.setbb.com/vanguards.
5. Family atmosphere. At Holy_VanGuards we don't aim to be "the most amazingly strong Guild in the world EVAR at all cost!", we do aim however to have fun and a laugh levelling. There is no pressure for anyone to level excessively in the Guild, just be active, join Vent if you can, and have fun at our events. Although, be under no illusion, we're not weak ^^.
6. Guild War Policy. HV will always defend the honour of the Guild. We don't GW excessively, but if enough people are on who fancy one, we will see what can be sorted. We NEVER shop kill or AFK kill, not under any circumstances, UNLESS they do to one of our members first, in which case it becomes fair game :p.
